Wanted to get Chinese takeout. Apparently, Great Wall is the only Chinese food takeout that is open on Monday in New Milford. The order was ready within the timeframe they gave. Plenty of parking in front. They take Covid very seriously. Please see the pictures for their safety precautions.

Today I ordered shrimp, chicken and pork lo mein and steamed pork dumplings from this restaurant. Even though the food smelled burnt and looked slimy, I was so hungry that quickly I gobbled it up. Halfway through though, I realized it just didn’t taste good. I stopped eating and I looked carefully and realized that the food was oily, the meat and vegetables were very sparse (two small shrimps, several strings of what appeared to be either pork, chicken, or cabbage), old and shriveled, smothered in soy sauce. I smelled the meat inside the dumpling and noticed a very strange oder. I was still very hungry and tried to eat again. I couldn’t though, it just didn’t smell right. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant in many many years. I couldn’t understand how this restaurant was still in business this long.

Don’t go here. Go to oriental house 5 mins away from here. They charged $16 for pork fried rice and chicken wings. Absolutely ridiculous compared to normal Chinese takeout spots. This was my second time trying this spot and it’s now entirely off my list of places to eat going forward.

This is by far THE BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT in town! You will not be disappointed with their food and service. I love Chinese food and grew up eating everyday so I know what’s good and what’s bad. I must say Great Wall really does impress me! You cannot go wrong with any of the choices on the menu.

Phone lady’s not nice and very rude??? Prices.online are wrong way before covid and they won’t change it so that you pay about 5 or 600 more per person kinda a scam and the taxes aren’t even close to 7 % more like.28% ordered to beef on stick should be.1050 charges 13 and change for pick up.cant eat in and very small shop
