A nice place to get some ramen in little Tokyo, famous for its spicy noodles.

Ramen is excellent for what you get. I’ve had the God fire, very good. The spice level is like a normal spice level for LA tongues. Otherwise the name speaks for itself for those more sensitive to heat. Then you can’t go wrong with the Tonkotsu, rich and flavorful. Great location in Little Tokyo, next to a lot of bars.

This a wonderful spot really. Ordered the popular Tonkotsu ramen bowl and selected the ‘light’ broth version. It was hot, flavorful and satisfying. I asked for some grated ginger which complemented the dish nicely. I did not leave disappointed.

Absolutely incredible. I like how thin the chasu is. It’s all broad and flattened out too. Lots of surface area and great for soaking in the broth.

Hakata is in Little Tokyo. I was craving ramen with black garlic oil and I was not disappointed, got my ramen fix here! The ramen was delicious- fresh made noodles with rich flavorful broth, yummy! If you have food restrictions, they also have non-pork and veggie broth to substitute the pork broth. The place is small and we got lucky with a table when we got there as it got busy and people were cued up.

I’m usually not a big fan of ramen places. Ramen is very overpriced in LA for a bowl of noodles and one piece of meat. Here, their Tonkotsu ramen is $14.50 which is on the cheaper side compared to other places it is also one of the cheapest options, where other places usually have it more than the shio or miso options. However with the basic tonkotsu ramen, they only give you one slice of cha siu and they really push you to buy their addons for more toppings.

It is with great disappointment that I update my review. This place has always been my go to spot for ramen. Everytime I come I leave with a smile. But not this time. Me and my gf ordered our usual, tonkatsu ramen and godfire ramen w a side of gyoza. Everything was good until my gf found a big hair sticking out of the gyoza. We understand that mistakes happen so we informed the pregnant server of the mistake. She did not apologize for the mistake and just took the dish and offered to replace it. The whole situation then turned awkward. My appetite was totally gone and the new batch of gyoza seemed untrustworthy. I really felt little was done to correct their mistake. No sorry no discount or nothing. I really left displeased and grossed out. I didn’t finish my ramen which I always do. I might not be coming back. I for sure will stop promoting this as my favorite ramen.

I ordered tonkotsu ramen. Overall it’s good. The soup base is rich in flavor. I guess some people might find it a bit strong on the pork odor but I’m okay with it.

Came on a Sunday lunch, no wait, got seated right away. We ordered Black Devil Ramen (spice level 2), Katsu Curry bowl and their special dipping ramen. Both ramen are delicious in their own way. My favorite is definitely the Black Devil Ramen which is a mixture between their Tonkotsu and God Fire ramen. Noodles cook perfectly too (I ordered normal). If you like (or can handle spicy well) definitely order spice level 3 or 4, spice level 2 was a little mild in my opinion.

WORTH THE WAIT. This is the best ramen I’ve ever had. It took a while for a table to open up, but that’s because this place is freaking awesome. The service was great, and the food came out within the first 10 minutes. Super good food. I recommend the spicy breakfast bowl.
