If I were only rating this on the food, I would give 4 stars.

This is a great spot for something other than the typical big fast food chain. For around $11 you can get ten dumplings and a drink.

I really do not like to give negative reviews, but for the sake of those who could be spared I will do it. The dumplings were so bland that even my dog would not eat the leftovers. So expensive, bland and given with little tiny water cups. I will never be eating there again. I mentioned to a friend and she said the same. “Oh THAT place”. Anyone who eats there only does it once and the never comes back. Just trying to spare you of the same experience. Save your money.

I always get the 12 piece pan fried dumplings with teriyaki sauce. The price is so cheap and these are the best dumplings I’ve ever eaten. They are little bundles of joy. My last meal would be Hao Bao Dumplings and my boyfriend’s cooking. That’s how damn good these dumplings are.

The dumplings are pretty good, but don’t order them boiled. They will break apart in the takeout box on the way home. Rather, indulge in the extra calories and order them pan-fried! Nice and juicy! Don’t forget the house sauce, which is a combo of sweet and spicy flavors.

I’m visiting from out of town, and I came here because it was near where I was at the moment. I ordered the dumpling soup. Now, I’ve eaten a lot of dumplings in my life, but these dumplings by and far the best dumplings I have ever eaten. They are big, first of all, and you can tell the filling is made from scratch. The broth was also amazing. I honestly don’t understand why not everyone feels the same, lol, except maybe the dumplings don’t taste the same when you order them pan-fried? Either way, from a girl from a big city with a HUGE food scene, your food really stands out.

Fried Veggie Dumplings were delicious. (Just bit too oily than I would’ve liked. But still delicious)

I think you get what you pay for. Hao bao dumpling is a quick dumpling place that is not expensive and good if you’re craving some oily bites. The portions are decently big, under 10 dollars for like 12 dumplings. It’s a bit too oily for me, but glad it isn’t dry. The chilli oil sauce is acrually spicy.

Tasty, cheap, but very small variety. Their menu consists of 4 types of dumplings: vegetables, pork, beef, chicken (8/16pcs)- can be boiled or pan fry, soup with noodle and dumplings or just noodle. That’s it! No salads, no appetizers, no dessert, no hot green tea- nothing more. There were a plenty of free sauces and lemon water there. Small narrow space inside. Good for 2 visitors, complicated for bigger company. We were only customers at 6pm on Friday, paid $13 for 3 portions of 8pcs dumplings, and waited about 15min. Dumplings were good. All other stuff you serve by yourself from the table at the corner. When we were leaving about 10 people were inside. In my opinion this is a good place for lunch or fast eating but not for dinner or to sit with friends.
