Came here for happy hour and we might become regulars this place is so great! We got the boa buns which were half off during happy hour as well as some spring rolls. Both tasted excellent. The drinks were also very fun, tasty, and pretty strong. The outdoor seating was adorable too!

Delicious, creative small “tapa” style dishes. Original Asian fusion concept. One highlight is their unique decors. The tabletop for example shows old Taiwanese newspapers! Their patio is attractively outfitted with colorful cushions. Came here to dine in and did take-out a number of times. Generally pleasant and good service (though a few times we had to wait for take-out orders for a long time beyond promised time). The dine-in experience was great though (maybe because we came early at 11 am).

My son and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hawkers Asian Street Food in Arlington, VA, and it was a wonderful experience! Lucky for us, the humidity took a sudden dip so, as we sat on the very alluring patio, we felt a gentle, refreshing breeze. Our waitress, Mercedes, was truly exceptional. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and comfortable from the start. Most importantly, the food is absolutely fantastic! The Po Po Lo’s Curry with shrimp was delightful with the perfect blend of spice and sweetness. My son’s choice, the chef’s special C.K.T., was also great – he said it was “fabulous.” Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Hawkers was just right. The relaxed ambiance on the patio, coupled with the attentive service and great food, created an unexpected dining experience for both of us. We enjoyed it there and will gladly return should ever be in Arlington again. This restaurant is a gem. Highly recommended!

Great prices for unique food combinations that are not easy to find in many places in the US. Felt like a mini visit to South East Asia. The quality and authenticity of the food was solid as was the service. The only down side was the relatively long wait (longer than what we were told). It wasn’t the wait itself but the fact that there were considerable available seats. Perhaps there was a reason but it wasn’t clear to us. But overall a wonderful experience.

This is a deliberately quaint restaurant in the center of the busy Ballston Arlington area which is replete with several fabulous eating places. Yet the restaurant manages to hold its own and then some thanks to its carefully curated menu selections, extraordinary friendly service and an interesting decor.

We try pad Thai, fried rice wings and couple more apps . Noodles and rice were below average on texture and taste. I wish I have same experience of all the five star reviews down here stated.

We love coming to Hawker’s! The food is always consistent and good. We usually sit at the bar for the vibe, and on this visit, our bartenders, Malcolm and Kyle, were super attentive and provided great service! We will definitely be back.

I went to Hawkers with my Fiancé, her good friend who traveling soon, and my close friend. I’ve see so many ads for Hawkers on Tik Tok. They do a grey job of branding and advertising. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations. It’s first come first serve. Wait time for my group was about 15 mins. This place is awesome to be honest. They have a variety for cuisine options from all over Asian. Their food itself exceeded my expectations. The Korean Twice Fried Chicken Wings were my favorite. We had a great time except for one thing. I’m not sure if the AC was working but it was about 84 degrees the entire time. The waiters were extremely hot as well. This made our experience less enjoyable. Certain part of the restaurant had more air flow than other but the back of the restaurant was definitely a bit more stagnant in terms of air flow.

Came to Hawkers for the first time and we ordered the yaki udon, duck fried rice, naked wings and the soup dumplings. Flavors were all on point on everything we ordered, but only the yaki udon came out hot, everything else was lukewarm. For anyone who loves soup dumplings knows it has to be super hot; like your mouth should be burning from how hot it is, but it was lukewarm best. We also did not get the black vinegar and ginger on the side. Ginger and vinegar are a MUST when you are ordering soup dumplings and I had to end up asking one of the expediters since neither of the bartenders bothered to ask us if we needed anything else or to even ask how everything was.
