Henry’s diner was a wonderful experience! It was clearly a popular restaurant, but well worth the wait. The line was also well-managed and moved at a quick pace. We were impressed by the interior design, which was sleek and clean. We were seated at the bar and were speedily served our menus, which had a fun and easy-to-read design that still carried lots of options. We got a Florentine omelette, a strawberry milkshake, and a black bean burger with avocado and chipotle mayo sauce. The food was absolutely delicious. The fries especially were some of the best I’ve had in a while– perfectly crispy on the outside with seasoning, and soft on the inside. Was probably the first time I’ve actually demolished a whole serving of fries, and it took up half the plate. It was also very cute to be served a complimentary pile of fruit with my omelette– grapes and pineapple, which is my favorite. The food came out impressively fast, and we were given space and time to eat our fill. Would highly recommend to any Rutgers visitor!

This place is truly some of the best food at Rutgers. However, the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. When it opens at noon, the line is so long that the wait time is between 20 minutes and over an hour! The service is good, the bathrooms aren’t bad, it is easily accessible from the classes on Livi, and the food is well priced. The drinks are a little pricey but I can’t complain too much, since they’re really good. All in all, I recommend it, and it’s honestly like a Rutgers tradition to eat here, so try it at least once before you graduate!

This is the cleanest diner I’ve ever seen! The prices are beyond reasonable & the food portions are huge and tasty in addition the presentation is on point! Everyone works hard with one common interest which is to cater to the customers. Great job!!!

The best food at Rutgers. Friendly staff and great playlist of music. Everyone there really cares about the customers. This is my go-to place to eat on Livingston campus. I really wish though they would open earlier than noon so students could eat a good breakfast and stay open later than 6pm so kids can actually get dinner after there done with there night classes. Please change the hours because everyone loves this place.

Decor and music were fantastic! We were seated fairly quickly. Service was slow but the waitress was very nice (she clearly was a student and inexperienced). The food was crazy good, I was surprised. The chicken Parm was the best I have had in a while. The check was also on the cheap side. If I’m in the area again, definitely will be back.
