OK Yeah you MUST give this spot a try! This is an intimate bar in the back of the restaurant that is great for the cocktail lovers of Denver. The bartenders make drinks based on your description/request so you get a truly unique experience. Great drinks, unique liquors, beautiful presentation, great service. Atmosphere is amazing, and the food even better. Highlights were crispy pork belly with the shaken rice and kimchi, and the potato pavé with roe. There’s also a specials board and the okonamiyaki was fantastic. Really impressed with the food quality given the affordable prices. Definitely check out Ok Yeah (bar in the back) as well after your meal for a nightcap.

My sister-in-law and I met for drinks and dinner. This is a fun and funky gastro experience. It is hard to put in a box and something tells me that’s the point. We are meant to enjoy our time with friends and family whether we are having drinks or a full meal. If you are looking for a flavor explosion that will somehow transcend your taste buds and ignite all your senses, this is the place. We started in the back at OK Yeah with Benjamin and Brian, magnificent mixologists, who curated our mood and cocktail preferences into designer drinks with and without alcohol. All I can say is give in to the experience at the intimate 15 seat bar. There was no need to pay before moving to our dinner table in Hey Kiddo; our tab/bill followed us. Once at our table, we perused the regular and specials menu. The specials were an camera photo. I enjoyed the here today vibe that this evoked. Our server Jack answered questions about any menu items we didn’t know. We ordered several items: guilan, shaken chef rice, cucumbers, and grilled mushrooms. The cucumbers are a must have. The homemade chili sauce is perfect for the crisp cucumbers and hazelnuts. We didn’t have dessert but will happily return sometime soon to indulge.

The first time I came here they served us raw chicken. We started going to ok yeah in the back for the awesome cocktails. The bartenders shared that the owners don’t actually take care of the employees by not equally sharing tips. Then we tried their rooftop… what you are looking at is a few carrots and 2 radishes for $16.

TEXT BOOK PERFECT!!! Highly recommend Hey Kiddo. Service is top-notch with friendly, knowledgeable, & professional waitstaff. Atmosphere is modern and welcoming without pretense. Love the Omakase concept OK, Yah in the back. Looking forward to the rooftop come this summer. Great Music selection. Drinks and wine options are excellent. Bartenders are efficient and have a deep level of understanding for their craft. The food was executed perfectly, thoughtfully clearly using the best ingredients. This place clearly has a culture of caring and hospitality deeply rooted from the top down.
