Order was a Ribeye Sandwich and a Chicken Wafflewich. Steak was a thin but fairly large, and a little too fatty for me. Super happy they have tater tots for sides! Boyfriend got the chicken wafflewich, the chicken was very delicious! Service was decent, although there was a large group of us!

We have been going to this Hickory Tavern for years but recent experiences have been awful. Since they changed the menu the kitchen is always backed and the food is awful. Last night we waited over an hour at our table for food and today we ordered a to go order. The salmon is horribly spiced and half of it was raw ( picture attached)

Service was good, but the fish and chips, shrimp tacos, and spinach dip was just okay. Wish I’d stuck with a hamburger instead of being adventurous. Good place to watch a game and grab a drink, but wouldn’t go back for dinner.

Consistent with other Hickory Tavern locations. We were promptly greeted and taken to our table. Our server was attentive and courteous. The food was just okay for me. It came out, somewhat lukewarm, but otherwise, tasty. I would recommend it!

We live around the block and have been here many times over the past year (2022). The servers are always nice, food is consistent , drinks are good. This location can get busy, but we have never waited. As with all their locations , the menu offers something for everyone. The wings are top notch and the peel and eat shrimp are large. I have enjoyed the chicken and waffles a few times. Love the local beers (Noda, OMB, etc).

Not very busy at 10 on a Friday which is always concerning for a bar. I ordered food to go with my aunt and while we were waiting, a palmetto bug (aka giant cockroach) started crawling up her shirt. I had to swat it off and tell the bartender where it was so he could take care of it. No apology was given, no discount even though we weren’t excited to eat what we ordered at that point, just ignored as if it was commonplace. I prefer to patronize restaurants that care more about their customers. That being said, I’ve been there several times before with marginal food, not much around in the immediate area like this, just make sure you don’t bring any crawling hitchhikers with you when you leave.

Last minute decision to stop here on July 4th afternoon. Wasn’t too busy, had great service and food was all cooked perfectly. Have been to this location a handful of times and can’t remember ever having anything other than a pleasant experience.
