This place is amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hosts and they were so friendly and bubbly. We were seated and quickly began getting taken care of even though it was a busy Saturday night! Our waiter was absolutely lovely, I believe his name is Ricky. The food was so affordable and did not disappoint. I did, however, wish my Shrimp Po Boy had a little more sauce, as it was a bit dry for my liking. But other than that, I enjoyed my meal. Great food and great service. I will definitely be back when I visit Savannah again.

It took us a minute to find this place but it definitely was worth it. We both enjoyed the catfish and cheese grits with side of wheat toasted bread. I enjoyed a margarita. All around great service and delicious food. The catfish was so tender and fall apart. I never tasted catfish so flavorful before. Definitely will be back. The beignets not like New Orleans but definitely was good.

It was a good, but not a great experience for dinner on a Sunday evening. I had catfish and cheese grits. In my opinion, the catfish could use some additional seasoning to give it more of a Cajun flavor. I grew up a couple of hours from New Orleans, so I know cajun food. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back to see if there’s been any improvements.

Huey’s was recommended to me, while I was in Savannah. It was an okay experience, however, I didn’t find it to be as special as I was told. The food and service was fine, but I thought it was a bit pricey for what you got. I’m glad I went, but with all the dining options in Savannah, I will be going to other places the next time in town.

I entered Huey’s and immediately went to the bathroom. Getting to the bathroom is relatively dark and isolating because of its location. I wouldn’t send my child to the bathroom alone.

Huey’s came highly recommended and I ow know why! A charming restaurant on River street facing the water, my husband and I popped in for brunch while vacationing in Savannah. Hubby and I shared some beignets. I had the Crabcake Benedict with a mimosa and coffee and husband had a steak and egg dish. Aside from husband wanting his steak a bit rarer than they brought out, EVERYTHING was on point. This place was clean and the vibe was very chill. Our waiter was the right amount of attentive. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Gumbo was flavorful and slightly spicy (correct), cornbread sweet and moist. Fried green tomatoes good. Cheese grits were a hard pass as well as the rice and beans- taste like canned beans in sauce. Shrimp and Scallop dish was also meh. I will not eat here for dinner again. Maybe lunch.

What a great find! Delicious food and wonderful service! Emil was our server…very attentive and friendly. He also makes lovely salads as I ordered a side salad. The fried green tomatoes with remoulade were perfect. We also had catfish and chicken sandwiches. Fruit was fresh and l and the fried okra had a tasty coating. Red beans and rice was spicy and tasty. Would definitely eat here again. The bathroom is a bit of a distance and out of the way to access.

Had lunch with two of my colleagues during my visit for work. This place is located on Savannah’s Downtown which is a great historic place to walk. And is a riverfront view. It was difficult to find a place to park.

The food here is amazing and you must experience it! I had the best breakfast ever here last weekend… the wait is pretty long and the lady at the front desk was beyond rude. Despite this, the food was so incredible I’m giving a 5 star anyway.
