Our World Famous Huey burgers have been voted Best Burger in Memphis since 1984. Sundays at Huey’s are traditionally known for live music, including jazz, blues and even a little rock from local and regional groups. At the example of the late Thomas Boggs, Huey’s former owner, giving back to the community is one of our top priorities. We are proud to have donated many hours, monetary support and services for countless community organizations, schools, and nonprofits over the years.

My youngest had a promotion ceremony to celebrate completing elementary school, and wanted to eat lunch with his family after. So we decided to go to Huey’s. During lunch, Huey’s is a seat yourself environment with the staff greeting you as soon as you walk in the door. Our server was nice and prompt with drink refills. I had the philly cheese steak and it was okay. I actually prefer the chicken philly between the two through. Someone else had the salmon and vegetables plate and thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall it was a good experience.

A typical southern style, casual hamburger place. It’s very popular, and often is crowded. We went for lunch and luckily got table within just five minutes. They have their own parking, but that’s not big. We started with friend pickle. My life motto is, any fried stuff is tasty. So yum! Moving on in the next course I ordered the bluff city burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was good with cheese, onion straws and medium rare patty inside. It’s quite huge for me. However, the sweet potato fries were not the best. I felt it was a bit underscored. Overall, very cool place. Good point is, they are open until quite late night.

So good! My husband said it was the best food he’s ever had. The service was amazing too, the waiter even put special care in taking care of our toddler, checking if he needed to bring out her entree when it was ready instead of waiting. The food was worth the stop and the service was 5 stars! Get the sweet potato fries! I’ll be thinking about those for a while!

I loved everything about this quirky little joint, from the excellent service to the piping hot food. Our server, Megan, was not only efficient and skilled, but also witty and added delight to our meal. My Madison Ave burger was cooked just the way I wanted it and it was juicy and delicious. I have to say tho, that for this party of 6, the chicken wings stole the show. They were crisp and juicy, with just a hint of buffalo, and we were almost fighting for the last one. The housemade ranch is creamy and light and just a treat to dip almost anything in.

Pretty cool little place. Prices are somewhat decent. They need to update their menu on Google though. As I went there for the prices displayed in the online menu, and sadly they were pre covid prices. But it’s ok, the food was good, the club sandwich was good but kinda skimpy.
