Although the service was good, my issue is with yelling. All you hear from the kitchen is a woman complaining and yelling at the poor servers, calling them names and saying they’re too messy. I worked in the food industry before, I know how hectic things get, But being that disrespectful is unbelievable. Despite that, both servers checked in on us with a smile. They deserve better.

Went to this location on 8/6/23 at 2pm. Started off bieng the only person in line (restaurant not busy at all). After 9 minutes, was not even acknowledged by the manager at the register. At this point there were 6 more people in line. The manager was extraordinary rude to all of her staff (one cashier in particular). She seemed to not be able to handle a slow paced restaurant. Her blatant rudeness and ignorance caused us to go to tge IHOP location off smoketown Rd.

It was nice to spend time as a family with my Aunt Joy. My parents each got one of the meals that has a senior citizen discount. My aunt got the cheesecake pancakes and another type of pancake platter. My brother Leo got a pancake platter too. I got one of their new sandwiches: the Pepper Jack Patty Melt. It was really filling and satisfying. I also got a side of fries. The bread, of course, was thick and buttery–much better than the typical bread that you can buy from the grocery store. The meat was cooked well enough. Their secret sauce was really nice, and I put some hot sauce in the sandwich as well. I liked the jalapenos, too. I have no complaints. I don’t want to be a negative Nancy or Karen who finds faults in even the least worrisome thing. As they say in Oklahoma or whatever: “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” Keep chugging along, IHOP! Compliments to the chefs.

Negative stars if I could. The food took over 30 mins to come out but that wouldn’t have been an issue if our server had came and checked on us in those 30 minutes. Drinks took 10 minutes to come out after we weren’t greeted for 10 minutes and had another table that sat behind us get greeted like 2 minutes after they sat. I ordered grits and cheese an an appetizer and it came out with the food and I asked to send it back cause it wasn’t made how they normally make it and she said the manager doesn’t let them take things off the check. I didn’t eat it and I didn’t want it 30 mins after I had ordered it and Rosa was rude and trying to argue when I kindly asked her to speak to her manager about the grits. The service was so trash and that’s a lot for me to say since I am a server and know how it is.

We ordered our food at 9am and it said it was going to be ready at 9:20. We showed up at 9:25 to pick up our order and we’re told that it wasn’t ready yet. We sat and waited around till 10:05 when our order was finally ready. Their excuse was that they were very busy, but an entire family of five arrived, sat down, ate, and left by the time our food was ready. We also watched 8 people pick up mobile orders as well. When we got home (about 5 minutes later) our food was cold. They did nothing to rectify the problem at all.

If your servers name is Rosa please ask to be served by someone else. She is rude and demands high tip. She will announce it to the whole restaurant IF SHE IS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE TIP but what about customer satisfaction??? She for one obviously stole the table from our actual server Estrella. She didn’t pass our drinks around we passed them down our table for her…she messed up our orders and we had to constantly ask for things. She came to check on us at the end. We left her tip and in Spanish I quote she said “I got a question are you guys familiar with 20% tip because I did a good job” how rude can you be and still have a job? That is disrespectful. At least the food was great thanks to the cooks. DO NOT LET ROSA SERVE YOU SHE IS RUDE. Take the time and drive to the IHOP on Smoketown you’ll thank me later.

Staff is friendly. Food is poor quality. Reheated hash browns, bacon that was all fat, and powdered eggs. If you only want pancakes- you are good to go.
