Just had an amazing dinner here with my best friend who was craving Italian. I’m sad I didn’t know this was so close to home sooner! This is unlike any other dining experience I’ve had in Philly. Excellent neighborhood, home-style Italian restaurant. Friendly atmosphere with good variety of listed and nightly special menu options. Large size portions at very reasonable prices. We had the mussels antipasto, salmon and parpacella pasta. All three dishes were delicious and abundant.

I came to Ghiotonne about a month ago and it was easily the best dining experience I’ve had in Philadelphia. The food is incredible and the servers are very sweet. Bring a bottle(or 2) of wine and order it all, it’s all incredible. Leave full and happy. Cash only. Thank you!

Such a lovely restaurant and staff. Their bread and dip are amazing – 100% toddler approved, just look at that face in the photos! The salads, mussels, pasta dishes, pork chop, chicken, salmon and desserts were spot on. I am now a frequent patron, that is how good the food and people are at this establishment.

Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, OK food. Called ahead on a Friday night and were able to get a table pretty easily, but it could’ve been a slow weekend. Either way, staff was very friendly and on top of things. Inside atmosphere is nice and being able to see inside the kitchen is cool. The caprese salad we got was delicious and fresh. However, our main dishes were just OK. The pork dish we ate was too salty, especially the risotto. The seafood pasta didn’t have a lot of flavor and the seafood didn’t taste very fresh. The food wasn’t bad, we were just hoping for better.

It’s a little slow but it’s so cute and the food is very good. The meatballs are to die for. Gnocchi was too heavy but could have been an off night. Chicken Parm was absolutely perfect. My date said, “you don’t even have to chew it.” Lol we’ll be back many times.
