Reasonably good Indian Restaurant. Food was fine, nothing outstanding, but competent and main stream. The tandoori chicken had too much added color and could have been better.

This was one of our favorite restaurants in the past. The first time my wife had Indian cuisine was in this restaurant about 25 years ago. We went back for Mother’s Day this evening and waited over an hour and a half for our meal. Folks that walked in at the same time were leaving by the time we received our dinner. The food was good, but absolutely no explanation for the delay. Service was sporadic. I was really disappointed after the great experiences from the past.

My mom and I are visiting Greenville in hopes of moving here. We saw India Palace and wanted to give a try since we love our Indian restaurant in Florida. We were greeted and sat at our table immediately. Our server was attentive and very polite. We both decided on the meat buffet which consisted of chicken curry, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, and tandoori chicken. It also included rice and naan. ALL of it was so good!!! We loved every bit of our meal. The only negative I would say is the price. Their prices are much higher than what we are used to in FL. For example, their chicken curry dinner portion is $17.95 compared to $13.99 at our regular place in FL. Anyway, if we move here, we will be back, just not as often as we would if the prices were better! Sorry the dish is messy, I forgot to take the picture when it was first brought out.

This was my First time ever trying Indian cuisine and i was not disappointed. I made a good choice coming during lunch. It wasn’t busy and getting parking was great. The service was excellent. She explained all of the dishes and gave me a few good tips. The appetizer was oddly delicious and complimentary. I tried the chicken trio and I loved the Curry. The bread was Excellent and decadent. I finished it off with the excellent chai tea. I was very pleased with the experience and I will be coming back. (It was even better as leftovers do takeout is also an option.)

Great savory food. I got the buttered chicken and chicken tikka masala curry with allo paratha and cheese naan. Food was very delicious and worth the money. (It is a bit pricey, $25 per person, not too bad) great customer service! Would definitely come again!

Delicious Indian food, good music, staff is very polite. I enjoyed the complimentary lentil bread and rice pudding. The coconut soup is amazing, I nearly cried – I remembered a similar dish from when I lived in Hawaii as a small child. Definitely worth the price if you love food and have well developed taste buds!

A friend of mine and i went here for lunch. We both got vegetarian dishes and shared them (palaak paneer, channa tikka masala). The meal started out with an onion chutney that was so savory and bright i wish i had the receipie, i could eat it every day. Our food was brought out very quickly, and we ate it very quickly because it was SOOOO good. Seriously well developed flavors and spices. A simple meal incredibly executed. The atmosphere was very nice, i enjoyed the traditional music. The service was very quick and polite. Next time we do lunch together we are going back there and taking more of our coworkers. Could not reccommend more highly.

Top of our list. We love this restaurant and have tried several in Greenville and surrounding areas. If you are new to Indian food order plates to share. Try the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Palak Paneer, order of naan and a chai tea. You will have enough food for leftovers at home. Don’t let the parking lot and surrounding area scare you away. This is a gem!
