Food was very good. 5/5 for the chef. Please be aware – if you ask for spicy food, you really get spicy food. Indian spicy. The hostess & waiters & waitresses could be a little more friendlier to the customers. They need to be more welcoming. I went there to pick up my food – stood at the entrance for a while. The waitresses went past 2-3 times – she did not even bother to direct me or ask me what I am there for.

Stopover on Interstate 81 and I’m glad we came here. Food is really good. Tried the veg biryani and it was yummy.

We just stopped in here for takeout on our way back to northern Virginia, but BOY am I happy we did! They have great vegan options, and I was even able to enjoy some pakora, which are made with chickpea flour and therefore grain-free, and unfortunately I can’t eat grains or animal products for now. The muttar aloo, the pakora, and the vegetable biryani (according to my fiance & how it smelled) are all fantastic, and I’ve been to Indian and grown up on Indian food— despite my current restrictions, or maybe because of them, I know when something is made well. Even the peas were fresh rather than canned, and the vegetable biryani had so many flavorful touches. If we lived in town, we’d certainly be back!

My husband and I went here for a late lunch and had a delicious experience. The dal tadka was one of the best we’ve ever had and the saag paneer was so authentic. The garlic naan was a special experience because it was not like a traditional naan—it was loaded with garlic and a bit crispy. Just wow! Thanks to Shiva, BJ, and Prasad for excellent food and top-level service. We will certainly return when we’re in town.

Food was really good but I wouldn’t say it was much different/better than Taste of India or Taj. The Naan was different, not sure if I would say better than traditional Naan served at other Indian restaurants. And they only bring one piece per order. The server seemed to hover over us waiting to decide or pay the bill which was just a little odd, humorously.

The absolute BEST Indian in Harrisonburg. I got the most delicious paneer tikka masala I have ever had in my entire life! Gorgeous fresh veggies, super flavorful, light sauce. My youngest got the biriyani and said it was the best he has ever had and (his best friend is Arabic and he eats at his house often). My oldest had the butter chicken and said he has not had any better. We also got the pakoras and they were just heavenly, and still crispy and craveable when they reached us.

tried for the first time; went moderate spice on the Lamb Curry and it was hot and perfect. Good amount of rice, plenty of food. Meat pie was also very well prepared and cooked. Not a lot of experience with Indian food, but this was very good. Will try again

I was Very Disappointed. This is Not Indian Food. I had level 2 Spicy. Thats all I could taste is just Spice, no other type of flavor, it was not seasoned at all. Beyond Bland and Plain food. I spent $25 (with tip) on appetizers Momo deep fried veggies and Entree Chicken Tikki Masala. Large portions and Unfortunately none of it was Good. Water was good. And the Restaurant is Clean. Waitress seem like she had a Hard day and it showed. I have no plans to return back. I’m really taken back with all the Good Reviews.
