We came here for dinner on Mother’s Day (5/14). Had reservations at 6:45pm… but didn’t get seated until shortly after 7pm. Place was clean and not super busy. Very inviting. Service however was mediocre at best. Took longer than anticipated to be greeted by our waitress. Also waited a while to get our food. While the food was as good as expected for Iron Horse Tavern (We’ve been to the one in downtown Sacramento), it was overshadowed by the less than stellar service. Service is 3/5. Food 4.5/5. Restaurant (5/5). Wait time with reservation (2/5). Overall experience 3/5. Would we return?… probably not to this place. There are other eateries in the area. If you don’t mind the wait, then this place might be good for you. But if you’re in a hurry, will want to look elsewhere.

Good food, location, and atmosphere. Great for casual or fancy attire. Easy and plentiful parking. We were mostly appreciative of the Interior Design, in particular the restrooms. The stalls are fully enclosed; and the faucet, soap, and hand towels are positioned so that nothing drips on the counter or floor. The soap fragrance didn’t overpower the room or hands. Reviewing the restroom my seem silly, but so many places don’t even think about the bathrooms. Much thought, care, and design skill went into this restaurant. More vegetarian options on the menu would make the restaurant even better.

Food was good. They have a wide variety. I and my wife had the Saddle up (a rum drink) and Guava mocktail. We liked them. For good we had the Short Rib pizza and the Mac Chees trio. I liked the mix if short rib and Jalapeños on the Pizza which was more of a flat bread type. The Mac & Cheese actually came with a fried egg. Service was fast and good. The only issue was that we had ordered fried pickles which came too late after we had already eaten. But they had no issues taking it back and removing from the bill. Large space inside and outside.

We ate here for dinner and had a large group. The service was excellent and the food / cocktails came out quickly. I had eaten here for lunch previously. The entrees were good but not amazing. I think their lunch offerings are probably a better show of their capabilities. We would go here again but probably not for dinner entrees.

Love ❤️ love ❤️ both restaurant locations. Came with a super large group at a very busy night and was accommodated in less than 20 minutes. Didn’t mind the wait because it guaranteed the food and adult beverages were always going to be consistently delicious. I’ve tried everything on the menu and there’s nothing I’d stay away from. Yes, even from the kids menu
