Clam chowder (white) was tasty. It had a watery consistency and made for a nice meal. Fried panko breaded fish sandwich was good, but did not have a strong flavor of any kind. The most dominant flavor was the sweet Hawaiian buns.

the customer service was fantastic. The location was beautiful, food is good but you can tell that it wasn’t fresh out of the fryer. Everything seemed refried and slightly overcooked, still good and fast for how busy the place was. Very friendly and serviceable staff.

Went there for lunch on Ivar’s birthday. The deal was “Buy one entrée from Ivar’s Birthday Menu and get a second for $1.18 from the same menu.” Ordered fish & chips as well as shrimp & chips, and the food quality was good as usual. This location is just right by Lake Washington, and you can enjoy the gorgeous lake view while enjoying the food. There is no restaurant parking but there are plenty of street parking though.

Very friendly staff and great location + parking. Recommend fish and chips and Salmon Chowder. Grilled halibut may not be a good choice. I think it’s either grilled from frozen or portion being very thin quickly overcooks.

The food was good. We arrived at 8:10. The lady with pink hair was very rude. She made it obvious that she was not happy that we came in. She said “well, so much for early closing ” loud enough for us to hear. Two of her friends came in and she told them how our party came in after 8 and that we better be out by 9. Rolled her eyes at us. The other server and the gentleman cooking were nice. We are visiting from California and this place was close to where we are staying.

Always a great experience here! Good location, right on the Lake Blvd which is close to several beaches in Kirkland and close to downtown which is a pretty place to walk and shop. I had the 3 piece Alaska cod and it was delicious! Quick service, just maybe go outside of lunch hour to avoid a longer wait.

I love the fish and chips with their tarter sauce. My wife had the salmon dinner. I usually get their chowder. I love the smell. Years ago, before all the high tech buildings came, my office was across the street from their kitchen in South Lake Union. I still remember the great aroma.
