Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, place was not busy. Was greeted and seated quickly. Server was friendly and looked after us well. I got the pasta and meatballs and my wife got a pizza so we could have left overs. Food arrived hot and the portions were very good. Overall however it was a *MEH*.. middle of the road OK. Prices are what you would expect in Burlington but to us this was barley above (insert your town’s House of Pizza) here. The facility seems to be a converted steak house? or possibly a Bertucci’s? Does not look like they spent much to convert it to their branding. Interior design is classic 1990’s . Wife had to report to the server that the Ladies Room was an absolute bio hazard, and unusable in the current state. Based on the number of people in here and it was early in the day it clearly must have been from the previous day/night… Not good. In another stroke of weirdness there are two large stone Buddha’s to greet you to the patio area for this Italian place, wait what? Again clearly did not want to spend any money to remove them from one of this facilities previous incarnations. (see what I did there) . To avoid the usual comments on a bad review of “did you complain at the time” ? The answer is NO. Other than the cleaning issue which we did point out, nothing was “wrong” with the food it was just not good. The appetizer was decent and the front of house staff was pleasant and attentive , that is what saved this from being a 1 star.

Jack’s is the best version of coal fired pizza you can get in the greater Boston area. This place has gotten a lot busier since Dave Portnoy’s review and for good reason.

I got this right over Dave Portnoy …..Why didn’t I discover this place earlier?

Very sad after recent Barstool sports review. Ordered a meatball and a pepperoni pizza. Despite finding this shank/staple/bowel perforation, as a physician, I tried calling them to inform them of this dangerous object in their food. No response. Called 4 times. No staff member available for me unfortunately. Pizza good. Meatballs dangerous. Can’t recommend. Luckily Lahey close by with excellent GI service.

I don’t want to trash with less than a 4 star review because ai know what they are capable of.. but they need to get back to their consistency. I expected the typical coal fire blackened crispy pizza theyve done for years but what i got was a floppy undercooked pie i could get for half the price at a local house of pizza. Flavor was still good, but did not come out how it should have..

hello hello
I stopped there only because Dave Portnoy went and posted review. I ordered 12″ cheese. They give me almost uncooked pizza. I went back and they made me another one. Went out to my car open the second pizza. Pictures attached. Dropped both pizza’s back inside and walk away. Not what I expected. Not going back.

Pizza is very good definitely a 7.8 had a little flop wasn’t cooked well done. But I would definitely get this pizza again in the future. They are on to something that could be really good but they need to get the cool times consistent in a coal fired oven I’m sure that’s not easy.

This was my first coal fired pizza, and I enjoyed scarfing it down! The place is very clean, the tables were spaced appropriately for social distancing, and the servers wore masks. Our server was excellent overall. She was very attentive and friendly. The pizza was amazing. The pineapple mule cocktail was decent, but it was a bit more ginger than pineapple. I really want to try the banana dessert next time. Overall I am very glad to have visited Jack’s Coal Fired Pizza.

Came here on a Friday night for dinner and this place was not busy at all which should have been a sign to avoid it.

Honesty it doesn’t get better than this when it comes to pizza. I never normally pay attention to that one bite channel but after i saw jacks I knew I had to go and explore the cheese and sauce wonders. And Im so glad I did. It was almost like a wave of pure euphoria and dopamine in just a single slice, it was so perfect and char and just overall such an amazing experience, definitely will be exploring this wonderful place more in the future.
