My family doesn’t really cook anymore on Sundays since my grandmother passed so every now and then I want “GOOD SOULD FOOD” sure I’ve been to Ruth’s Cafe and gotten sick and I’ve patronized Eagles for years But when I want it DONE RIGHT. I take my money to Jasmine’s Cafe. Oxtails always cooked perfectly and not overly salty. Potatoes always good yams perfected and the dressing is superb. Never had a problem with the staff and these are local people running the show. I couldn’t ask for a better spot nor experience

DO NOT SECOND THINK THIS PLACE! The food is amazing! Oxtail reminds me of the oxtail soup my mom makes. The fried pork chops juiciest I have ever had! I did not know pork chops could be thst juicy. Stop by you will not regret it! Sorry I didnt take photos of the food, but I promise there was nothing left!

Another hidden jewel meat & three. This one in old Pratt City. A tiny place, geared for to go plates with darn good soul food served from their steam table. They have a daily menu and specials. Nice variety and friendly folks.

Really good food, they fry the fish when you order it, They have ox tails!! My only issue is that there is no room to sit and eat, you have to get it to go!!! I would love to see them move to Adamsville and open up a full service restaurant where you can sit with your family and dine

What can I say about my first experience. I was really excited to visit this establishment in the beginning. I was in B-Ham for a funeral service and referred to this Soulfood spot. HOWEVER-The customer service was null and void. They overcharged me for my food. Everything I wanted on the menu they didn’t have…..turkey wings and anything fried. “They were not frying today” 🙁 I ended up with oxtails and a veggie plate. The mac and cheese is wonderful. Greens good taste but no meat. Yams to die for. I would’ve given more stars but the customer service attitudes were just outright awful.
