Great meal! I was seriously craving good ribs and came across this place in a search and I’m glad we decided to come. The ribs were excellent, a meaty portion with a great rub that really added flavor. The portion was perfect, 4 large ribs, 2 medium, and 2 small ribs. I had potato salad as a side and it had some kick, the mac and cheese isn’t a creamy cheese, but a burnt thinner cheese that had bite. Almost rivalling the ribs was that they had Faygo, especially diet Faygo to drink. Flavor is clearly the name of the game here.

Hidden gem! Typical BBQ prices but nice size portions. Pit Beans were suprisingly good even with the mix of different beans. Corn bread had real corn in it and was crumbled, amazing. Burnt ends are hard to find, these were really good. Ribs weren’t fall off the bone but had a lot of meat. Sausage and brisket didn’t disappoint. Happy to have BBQ place around the corner. Keep up the good work!

Quality meats and well crafted traditional sides. Sauces are nicely flavored, but a touch sweet and thin for my taste. We’ve been a here a few times and loved each time. Got the meat sampler last time all the meats I choose were great and the sides are awesome. We got BBQ burritos this time. The burritos are giant sized, the slaw is a great spring mix and very flavorful. They use the pit beans and smoked mac&cheese and they add great zing to the whole deal.

Hard to find good burnt ends outside of Kansas City, but this place is doing a damn good job!

This place has potential but needs to take care of a few issues first. Literally none of the meat Iv order is tender or taste smoked. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s cooked in a oven then smoke flavor added to it. I have no proof of that but I wouldn’t be surprised. The sauces are literally all awful!!! They are straight water and all sickening sweet. What ever happen to normal tasting BBQ sauce ? Never has ribs on Saturday so I got rib tips which were okay but seemed like they were just covered in lots of sauce because they were burnt. But none the less they were the best thing Iv had from there. All the sides were flavorless and all the meat is tough and flavorless. Everything needs more seasoning and the meat needs that and more time cooking and smoke flavor.

Went with my wife and ordered a slab cornbread and mac and cheese, the ribs was the thinest ribs i have ever bought no meat on the bones at all i have never seen anything like them in my life, with little flavor. Mac and cheese was an 6 out of 10 and the cornbread was wet and super soft. they need to look at those dishes and see what they can do about making an superior product. If i was not so far away i would have came and got my money back.

Best BBQ stop in the area. They just revamped their menu and added a ton of new items. When choosing between Jayell and Bad Brad’s, we choose Jayell everytime. The staff is friendly and truly enjoys providing the areas best BBQ to their customers. You have to try their pit beans and brisket tacos. I just tried the new smoked sausage sandwich on the menu today and they highlighted the sausage flavor with the slaw and onions on it.

I went there yesterday for the first time, sorry to say that would be my last visit. The brisket sandwich was full of fat with no seasoning. The cole slaw was so spicy, that I couldn’t even eat it, who has spicy cole slaw. My daughter had potatoe salad and Mac and cheese, and both were super bland, no taste at all.

Try the BBQ Sheppard’s pie! Chips and a drink for ten bucks it can’t be beat. Delicious smoked Mac and Cheese! We couldn’t stop eating. They have a great selection of house sauces too. I’m really happy they have opened!

This would be a great place to open a BBQ joint but sadly they lack the BBQ part of the equation.
