Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

Meat slicer was so dirty there was roast beef on the top of my bread on my number 8, the young lady working the slicer had her long hair near the food and the whole counter was dirty. I watched the girl topping subs ahead of mine push dressed lettuce back into the lettuce bin as well

Took 20 mins to get an order in, guy on the grill had no hat on (as someone who worked for jersey mikes in previous years that’s a big no no) noticed their POS system was disgusting with white stuff? The pandemic is still a thing… it should be clean. The slicer was extremely dirty. We ordered an 8 which is ham and turkey and there was a piece of roast beef on it ? I understand it was semi near closing time but the pos looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. As well I was able to walk to the store while my friends ordered food & came back to our sandwich not even started yet. In reality we waited over 30 mins to get our sub started and finished. The person on the register was clueless to what they were supposed to do. That same person cross contaminated touching the register with gloves, and wrapping / sprinkling the whole time we were standing waiting.

First it’s not a full service location, no “#19 BBQ Beef” and others. Second after placing my order before I receive my order I was asked to give a tip. You heard me right a tip. After spending almost $18, they wouldn’t even be in my top 50 list and not meeting the expectation from the picture of the item to what I was given I would say save your money find somewhere else. Now my wife I’m sure she would love this place ,the sub cheesesteak was not heavy at all not a lot of meat and the bread was very light. Some might say I’m being a little harsh because I live in Philly but originally I’m from Baltimore and even in Baltimore There Are Places better than this place like Captain Harvey’s.

We planned to dine in but the bathrooms were closed to the public with a sign for employees only so we couldn’t wash our hands to eat. We were discussing the No bathroom when it was our turn. Since we didn’t answer with our order immediately she asked the next person l, who had just walked in, what they wanted. She never asked if we wanted lettuce or anything on our sandwich. Very poor costumer service.
