Heard so many positives about this place and although it’s not bad it’s SERIOUSLY underwhelming. We started out with deep fried ravioli as an appetizer and I said “I bet they’re supplier frozen and they were indeed something you’d get from the frozen isle at a grocery store. They were slightly overcooked and the ricotta inside was bland. My wife and I agreed mostly that the sauce was not special, although she disliked it whereas I thought it was acceptable to good. The ravioli was just not good. My daughter got spaghetti and liked it.

I was close by. I was hungry. I wanted to give Joey’s a try. So, on a Thursday evening I ordered the lasagna; it was a pretty large piece and it was good. The sauce was pretty smooth. It was light-handed on the herbs and acid. The noodles were cooked well — not mushy. The petit bread roll served with the dish looked even smaller sitting next to the lasagna serving. The other dishes that passed my view on their way to other customers appeared to be generously populated as well. Enjoyed the meal.

Came on a Tuesday night and they had live music. Our service was a little slow but it was ok. The Prime rib portion was very large, and good however not the best I’ve ever had. They rotate their menu frequently and have a lot of dessert options.

2 Stars for Tips gouging. We had a table of 10 and split the bill between two parties. We were charged a 25% tip on the food and beverage sub total. If you add the tax, the tip charged was 23%. I cannot remember the last time I did not leave a 20% tip at a restaurant. There was no mention of an automatic tip for a large table, nor was it posted on the Menu. I do not believe in paying tip on the sales tax. The meals were great but service was slow. The table next to us was seated after us and their meals were served several minutes before our meals were brought out. I take exception to being gouged on the tip. Joey has a great following and great food, but his tip policy will begin to cost him customers. I will probably not return after this experience.

Have driven by Joey’s for years and decided to stop in for lunch. There is a hostess station just inside the door, with a cozy bar on the right hand side. The waitress took us into the dining space, which was comfortable and featured some LED lighting in the ceiling space. Based on the clientele, they appear to have a lot of regulars. Our server was friendly and efficient.

Dined here about a week ago- overall experience was good and I’m sure we will be back. We came in not long before closing and we’re pleasantly surprised the kitchen was still open, and making the full menu. We had a round of drinks and food, all of which was good. The restaurant is very clean and feels very modern inside- worth checking out if you are in the area.

Food was excellent. I had the beef on weck which was so tasty and good. Our waitress Jessica was wonderful, polite, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for a great dinner. Prices were fair, especially in today’s inflation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for really good food.
