Know the menu that you offer. Cheese sticks is not cheesy bread. Management was worse than the food, however the cheesesteak sandwich was terrible.

Food was decent and prices okay. Service was average at best, never got an offer on drink refill. Most disappointing was the place was filthy. The lamp shade over our table had a year’s worth of dust on it as well as the tops of the booth. AC was barely working and the one fan they had was blowing away from us. Lastly, had 4-5 tiny bites on my arms and legs. Couldn’t see anything but I’m guessing dust mites. We won’t be going back.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE EVERYTHING about Johnny Brusco’s New York Pizza!!! The staff is Amazing n very helpful. The Bathroom was well stocked and Clean! The restaurant area was clean and comfortable . The pizza was the BEST Pizza I have had in YEAR’S!! I wish I lived closer To visit regularly!

We used to go to Johnny Brusco’s in Vestavia all the time until they unfortunately closed. After trying out a couple of places closer to home and being underwhelmed we decided to make the 20 minute drive to the Johnny Brusco’s in Hoover. It was as good as the Vestavia location! Very flavorful and the crust is the best! Will be coming back!

My husband found this restaurant on local flavors, so we decided to give it a try. It’s a little hard to get in and out with traffic. It was pretty busy for a weekday (dine-in and pick-up), so I took that as a good sign. The menu is a lot to take in, so it took a while to decide what to get. I ordered the house stromboli. It was completely stuffed with toppings and cheese and hot! The marinara sauce was chunky which I liked. The sprite tasted fresh. Some restaurants have flat or off tasting fountain drinks, but not here. Now the menu says the cheesecake has assorted flavors, but when we asked our server, she let us know it’s plain cheesecake. The taste was different but not in a bad way. The texture is really creamy and smooth…almost softened butter like. I’m convinced the crust is nilla wafer and not graham cracker which was a pleasant surprise! I wish there was a strawberry or maybe blueberry fruit topping.

One star for carry out. This is usually one of our family’s favorites. We called and they said it would be an hour and 15 minutes for carry out. Wanting to support local were were patient and they said they’d call if the pizza came out earlier. They called right at the 1h15m mark as we were pulling in. The pizza was not warm and stone cold by the time we got home. For carrying out, us Marcos across the street. Service quality is up an and down too.
