I tried this location on the advice of a family member who said it was “amazing” unfortunately that raised my expectations too high. The subs were good, but they were not life-changing. I had the gator, which had a mix of meats, kielbasa, chicken and steak. They all had good flavor, but I expected more. The service was good though, and prompt. The person at the front counter was pleasant to talk to. My kids like it, so it worked out.

The Jon Smith Subs on Congress ave should be shut down. Its disgusting and dirty. The 1 on Dixie and Southern blvd. Is GREAT. This is the sandwich I ordered from Congress ave location. The staff was awful. Lucky I didn’t go back and throw it in there face. I give the 1 on Dixie and Southern blvd. 10 stars. The one on Congress ave should be shut down.
