Kahuna is known for both their poke and juice offerings, so I decided to give at least one of those options I try. It’s essentially summer so why not try their juice? I ordered the tropical tang smoothie.

Made my own bowl with my favorite toppings. Great flavors in the sauce, and tuna and other ingredients were fresh. I have to say the food is great value to the price. However, I do with the base was a little more. Whether its rice or zucchini noodles (I chose zucchini noodles) I was there was more to balance out the abundance of sauce. Next time I would get the white rice, which I think will go well with the ponzu sauce.

Went twice over this past year and ordered two different types of signature bowl (ponzu salmon and kimchi salmon). Sooooo underwhelming. Very little fish and so much sauce.

My hubby and I went here for lunch. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because, the indoor venue is small so it’s best if you’re going alone or as a couple. There are no tables that would comfortably seat 3 or more. Also, there were no options for cooked meat/fish in your poke if you wanted that. I love sushi so I was all about it, but my husband isn’t a sushi person so he would have appreciated the option to cook the salmon or have grilled spam or something like that.

Too much sauce, ugh. I’d had problems in the past with them putting too much sauce on my bowl so that the bottom was so salty I’d have to waste a bunch of the rice. Somehow I managed to get a couple good bowls with an appropriate amount of sauce but my latest order was drowning in what seemed like just chili sesame oil. My husband’s was the same. We’d both ordered “kahuna sauce” which I didn’t think was supposed to be pure oil… Anyway, the ingredients here are pretty fresh but it’s hard to get something edible made from them.

Besides the food being so delicious that I am willing to drive the hour that it takes to get there from my house, the service is awesome! The workers are so nice and patient with you, and one went out of their way to accommodate a food allergy I have. By far my fav place!!

Great customer service & price for what you get. Huge portions. Everything was very fresh and the bowls are made in front of you. I got the poke bowl and it was delicious.

During my first visit to Kahuna, I was overall impressed. I was just regular hungry, so I ordered a regular sized bowl, and was impressed with the serving size. There were two ice cream scoops of tuna over brown rice.

A neat little spot to get some pretty good poke. You can create your own bowl or get some signature bowls. I tried the Kimchi Salmon and Ponzu Salmon. Both were light and refreshing meals, although there was just a tad much sauce and salt. The kimchi dominated the bowl but I mess with kimchi so it wasn’t a big deal for me. Also, there was a fairly good serving of salmon with each bowl. It didn’t feel like they were skimping on the fish. In addition, the staff is friendly and welcoming.
