Went to check this location out since it’s having a grand reopening. The food was super delicious, there’s fresh sushi options for any taste buds. When you walk in your eyes, you quickly are drawn to the hanging lanterns. The service was great, making sure we had everything we needed. I tried the Sunkist Roll, Salmon Sampler, Salmon Carpaccio, and the Mango Tango Roll, I would get them all again, to be honest. We ended the meal with dessert, and I tried their strawberry macaron ice cream sandwich, which was nice on a hot day.

This is one of our favorite places to come get sushi in the valley. Daniel is an incredible guy and the food is always incredible. The fish is melt in your mouth. There are plenty of sushi spots on Ventura Blvd but not quite like Kaiju.

Absolutely delicious and staff was so friendly! I ordered the Brussels sprouts per their recommendation (yum). Toro Tartar on Spoon which was delightfully tangy. Soft shell crab was so good and the sauce it came with was perfect for it. I ordered their 6 piece Kaiju and Premium sushi, which were all mouthwatering and fresh. Their Mango Tango Roll was honestly kinda messy, but the mango combined with the grape tomatoes, avocado, salmon and yuzu mayo went surprisingly well together and I enjoyed it very much. For dessert, we had the Cappuccino Macaron Ice-cream and the Lychee Sorbet. I liked both but enjoyed the Sorbet more, it was very refreshing. Highly recommend with restaurant!

The sushi is perfectly fine – standard Valley sushi fare. The acoustics inside are TERRIBLE – be prepared to shout over the din to “talk” to your dining partners. The service is very hurry-hurry-rush-rush-don’t-let-the-door-hit-you-on-the-a$$; hardly relaxing or welcoming.

The food was very good and the quality was top notch. my husband and I are visiting japan this spring and we wanted to try out a few dishes before going to dip our toes in the water. we were excited about the variety of offerings and many kinds of fish to choose from. It really was high quality and very fresh. The service was also great and the restaurant itself looks like it went through a refresh and its beautiful on the interior. dimly lit and intimate makes for a romantic dining experience.
