Nice place and the food is great. Very warm the people working there, you have the real feeling of been served not as a guest but as a friend. The night we were there was an Opera event with singers… not common to see around! Veeeery good

Not a local’s opinion. Very happy we made reservations, La Dolce Vita is obviously loved by many. The staff was mostly attentive, but obviously very busy. For appetizers we ordered the Hungarian Hots and Vine Ripe Caprese. The Caprese was disappointing, and the tomatoes were not ripe and little flavor. The Hungarian Hots was the star of the show, I believe we all wanted to lick the plate. My son had the Pesto Omar, and it was very safe decision but absolutely delicious. My husband had the chicken Parmesan his “go-to” and overall the dish was tasty but the pasta was cooked about one minute short of Al dente sadly. I enjoyed Seafood Di Mare and it was very delicious. The portions are enough to serve two. The overall decor was like walking int a garage sale or someone’s random personal collections of knickknacks. A person whom I believe to be an owner was walking through the restaurant and greeting local regulars with a large bowl of pasta that he dished out of to his many favorites throughout the evening, sweet but a bit unsanitary.

Today we had a beautiful experience at this restaurant. The outdoor opera night was fantastic. The food was amazing and the workers were so sweet and helpful. The staff worked their tails off both inside and out. The restaurant was packed with patrons and truly deserve a 10 star rating. Nobody does it better. Can’t wait to come back.

Tonight’s trip to little Italy was outstanding!! We chose LA Dolce Vita, and if I could say we were impressed, that would be an understatement.

If this was just a review about food, it would be an automatic 5 stars without question. It’s just simple classic Italian dishes, and that’s what you’re looking for when you have dinner in Little Italy. The major disadvantage of running a restaurant in an old building, though, is that you really have to keep up with maintenance when it comes to overall appearance, and the decor and condition of the interior feels dated and overdue for a revamp. It also seems like the staff can be a bit overwhelmed with the sheer number of tables they have to cover when it gets very busy, which isn’t their fault but rather the result of having the numbers stacked against them. That being said, all of the service has been great and friendly regardless.

We started out and were immediately greeted by Terry, the owner, passing out Caccio E Pepe, which was amazing. And then our server brought out fresh baked bread. I ordered the Abruzze, which was to dieeee fooorrrrr, and my husband got the Butternut Squash Risotto which was also delicious! Then we finished up with banana tiramisu, which I dont even have words for. The food was SOOOO good, our waitress was super helpful with ordering, and checking up on us! I cannot wait to come back & eat here again!

Warm welcome. They found me a table even after the kitchen had just closed and I had a delicious fettuccine Al fresco washed down by my favourite Italian beer.

We happen to walk into this Establishment. And oh my God amazing food it’s a must try that’s all I can say. The meatballs melt in your mouth. My chicken Parmesan was out of this world I’ve never tasted anything so amazing the sauce was very smooth. There Italian wedding soup was different from what we’ve ever tasted but it was very good

Delicious food, wonderful service, and a gorgeous aesthetic. We were treated like royalty (although it seems as if everyone was!) with some complimentary cacio e pepe before we even ordered drinks and after dinner strawberries. Very attentive staff. Great overall experience.

La Dolce Vita breathes character into the experience, making it a very fun environment to be in. Ambiance is a nice mix of traditional and modern vibes, may not strike you as Italian but it all comes together. The wait staff is very interactive and fun, including the old man who offers pasta to everyone, adds a great touch.
