This was our first time and we enjoyed it. The service was good, food didn’t take long to arrived and portions are a good size. They welcome you with some good tortilla chips and salsa. For appetizer we ordered ceviche and a sopa de mariscos then we had number 20 and substituted the fried oysters for more fish. Restrooms were clean.

We travel for work and look for good places to eat every time we’re in town. La Jaivita did not disappoint! Hubby had a cocktail that had a mix of shrimp, fish, octopus and crab I believe…looked delicious. I had fish tacos and those were so DELICIOUS!

5 stars across the board. Where to start, everything was great. The food was hot, the food was great. The next time I’m here in the area, I will be going back again to eat. I had the Jaivita plate, and it was suggested by the waitress. We had a delivery in this area and asked one of the guys who worked at the jobs site where a good place to eat, and this is where he suggested. I’m glad we stopped in.

Worse hosting service ever there was 4 tables available. We had a party of 7 hostess said she didn’t have a table to sit us all together so we’re willing to sit in 2 different tables to make everything easier but she still didn’t want to sit us.

GREAT shrimp cocktail – get the large! Served with fresh slices of avocado and cilantro on top. Great sauce on the whole thing. Also, the ladies that are the wait staff are really nice and attentive.

Micheladas were very good. Dressed very nicely. 1st time seeing one dressed like that. Loved the chips and salsa. (Homemade chips) ceviche coulda used a tad more lemon juice (personal liking) however still delicious. The fish and shrimp plate was very good. Lightly battered. Staff was on point very attentive. Tables were cleaned promptly. Food came out pretty quick.

This was such a nice surprise! It was small, but cozy, with food hot and quicky and tasty! They have a job to do an they do it well. The soda is expensive but it was worth it for the fish and there’s nobody but us Hispanics jajajaja, made me feel back at home in the valley

Terrible service couldn’t get a table because it was seven of us tried to get separate tables we were told we couldn’t because they didn’t want their waitress back and forth. Hostess walked away mumbling sit where ever you want y’all are going to do whatever y’all want anyway!!
