Food Life – The Long Island Food Enthusiast
I work 5 mins from La Slice, and I usually come in around lunch time. I had an amazing experience here while on break, that caused me to be a consistent customer. I’ll start with their pizza though. Creativity, and variety is what you should expect before you step foot inside. They have everything from Rigatoni Ala Vodka, BBQ Chipotle Chicken, and Hawaiian. The slices are thick, reminiscent of deep dish pizza.. Expect to get filled up from one of their specialty slices. They also have a steam table with hot meals like baked chicken, yellow rice, veggies, and ribs. I suggest you give their pepperoni pinwheels a try! The Customer Service is what really sold me on La Slice. You wont be able to take more than a few steps inside before being greeted by one of their employees. Equipped with smiles, they really know how to make you feel good while at their establishment. I was given a free sample of their Penne Ala Vodka pasta for simply saying ” Good, and yourself?” After being asked how I was doing by one of their workers. I was blown away by this gesture. Next time I visit I will let the manager know the employees name!

Your first impression when you walk in is everything looks amazing and smells amazing. The employees were all tremendously friendly helpful and efficient. I ordered a slice of chicken francese Pizza and chicken parm Pizza. I also ordered a personal gluten-free pizza for my daughter. The two slices that I ordered I found the chicken parm slice to be better. The chicken francese slice the chicken seemed a little dry and lacking in sauce. I definitely will go back to try other items there was so much there I wanted to try it all.
