So we have driven by Las Palapas dozens of times and never stopped, but today was the day to come in for breakfast. Our grandson is a bean and cheese taco expert, he knows what good tortillas taste like and when he gobbled down 2 bean and cheese tacos, a bacon strip, and an extra tortilla in a matter of minutes it’s a good meal. I had the spicy sausage Ranchero Taco and the Machicado taco, they were delicious. You can tell a quality Mexican food restaurant by simple things, tortillas, rice, beans the quality of the meat the use. The sausage used was quality sausage, not a large winnie or a sausage with fillers. The machicaco taco had fajita meat. It was a great breakfast and I can wait to go back to this location or try Las Palapas somewhere else in town.

6/18 always good, but this morning, they forgot guacamole and gave me medium ice water when I asked for a large.

The food was good. The stuffed avocado was delicious. Our initial server took our drink order but then disappeared and we had to get someone else to take our food order. Both of our orders were wrong but the food was tasty. There was an insect issue with small bugs running around on the first table where we were seated so we moved to another table. I’m not sure if I will return.

It’s an okay Mexican restaurant. The food and service were good, but it was noisier than it needed to be. When we arrived, a large party dominated the main dining area, right next to several booths. Of course they were going to be loud, but there was no space in the restaurant to isolate them so half a dozen other tables surrounding them were directly impacted by their sound. We probably should have left right then, but we didn’t – the party appeared to be leaving soon (they didn’t). Add to that an amplified live singer in the adjoining bar area (during happy hour?) meant that having a simple conversation was impossible.

Been a while since we had been to this location. Glad to see that the service and food had improved to the old levels. Wife and I had the senior plate and it was just a perfect tasting meal and just the right size. Definitely will be back soon.

The place is a clean, and the food is reasonably priced. I did have the pleasure of tasting one of their chicken fajita tacos and that was amazing! You have got to try one for yourself, it will change you! My days are longer and brighter now. Weird, right!

Huevos Rancheros. Delicious! The waiter left my enchiladas I asked for butter and never saw him again. Had the nerve to chase me outside and asked why I didn’t tip.

I went on March 23rd at around 9pm. We had the best service. Sol was absolutely perfect. She took very good care of us. Food was hot and portions were good. We always go in the morning were Gabby is always great to us, but night shift is just as good. I highly recommend. Great job! We will continue to come back.
