Food has NO flavor at all. I love Vietnamese food but this tastes white. Dishes don’t have the tastes they advertise with. Lemongrass chicken is steamed chicken. Vermicelli satay beef has no satay and is steamed or boiled beef. They need to try their own food and do something because for $13, I’ll eat styrofoam first.

Surprised to see so many negative reviews. The classic Bahn Mi was excellent. Perhaps a bit more marinating if the ham and in smaller chunks. But beyond that, lot of potential here as they get the kinks worked out imho.

If I could leave a 0 star I would. The menu claims that the beef is “marinated in satay” but it comes COMPLETELY PLAIN. Boiled beef with no marinating whatsoever. After I complained to the server, the owner came out and said the satay is the crushed peanut that came separately in tiny container. I asked to switch to the “Lemongrass chicken” and guess what came? Boiled cold chicken with no lemongrass. The noodle is cold as well. Fooled me once, but I will never come back…. this is borderline fraud and simply sad.

Was excited to try a new Vietnamese place in Hoboken but was unfortunately disappointed. I got the steak vermicelli plate and it had no flavor – the steak was cold and completely plain (although the menu claimed it would be marinated and mildly spicy), it was missing jalapeños (which the menu also claimed it would have), and the noodles were hard.
