Little bit of a wait, but worth it. The food was amazing, the shrimp were crispy and crunchy but not over seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Mac and Cheese was cheesy and seasoned to perfection. I also had the jerk wings which were crunchy and juicy, while having a lot of sauce, the candied yams tasted like someone’s grandma made them. A birthday well spent.

We came for mother’s day dinner. The food was fresh and amazing. The service was wonderful. Drinks are strong. For a Monday night they had a DJ and fun vibe. They have plenty of sitting. And fun decor. My only complaint was the music was so loud we couldn’t really visit with each other. We will definitely be back to try other food items. We had fried catfish, fried shrimp and blackened catfish. The sides are collard greens, mashed potatoes, yams, Mac n cheese and potato salad. Generous potions.

Miss Know It All
I have been coming here for a while, but my most recent experience left much to be desired. The cashier is always friendly however I got home to find that my $30 plate of crab Alfredo was made WITHOUT ANY CRAB. Anyone who goes to Lighthouse knows the crab Alfredo comes with chunks of lump crab meat. This plate was literally noodles and cream. To make it worse I bring it back and am told they don’t have anymore crab to remake it for me, and I’m given 8 fried shrimp instead which is almost a $20 difference in price paid. Like seriously?! I’m also just insulted that the person making the food had the audacity to put noodles and cream in a pan that had remnants of someone else’s crab dish and attempt to pass that off as full crab Alfredo to another customer. They clearly did not add ANY crab whatsoever to my dish. Plus my wasted Uber fares to and from to be told I’m not going to have the dinner I paid for. I did my part as the customer and they failed as the merchant. I’ve even recommended them to others, but will not do so again. I don’t want anyone telling me I sent them someplace that plays with their money, time and food. Clearly this is my clue to stop patronizing as it’s the only way I can ensure I don’t pay for food I don’t receive again. This crab Alfredo was below mid. It was trash. Pics attached are of the dish after I turned over the noodles looking for ANY POSSIBLE evidence of crab meat. The two photos are of what I was served (photo 1) and the second is how visible the lump crab is when it’s actually made with crab meat.

Customer service 2/10: My husband and I ordered wings and was not offered/given any plates. I asked the waitress for blue cheese and never received it. However, one of the other staff members bought us ONE single blue cheese for 10 pcs wings. The cutlery is plastic (cups included). However, the wings were seasoned well and crispy, the seafood boil was tasty and fresh but the lobster tail was over cooked and rubbery. Food 8/10.

My Friend had her 44th Birthday party here in the far back party room 8/11 The space was dark and also housed the DJ. There was a older man with braids seated next to the DJ booth with his sneaker off cat calling flirting and yelling loudly for about an hour trying to engage with us, a party of 16 women. It was horrible.

The food was amazing. Their bartender was doing her thing! I truly respect the manager, Raymond. They were very busy for a Wednesday night and were short staffed. Raymond went into service mode and assisted in every aspect. Besides the food and drinks being amazing, customer service was surprisingly pleasant for the strained circumstances. I’m definitely coming back, probably in a cab because them drinks were too good, and i couldn’t even finish mine.

Listen! I don’t usually go out but when I do I always look into the space and details. I’m so glad we came here. If you haven’t been make sure you stop by. The food is out of this world. Lighthouse can take that win now. The staff is even better. Thank you to Malik and Jésus. Your hospitality was noticed and appreciated. 10/10 for the quality of the service I spent $26 for my meal and drinks, which included a warm welcome from the personnel and their best efforts to assist you in a timely manner. I ordered mac & cheese and garlic mashed potatoes as my two sides with my order of wings (7 pieces). There was so much food that I was unable to finish it. I requested a drink and instructed the server to blend all the tastes; it was delicious. The Mac and cheese didn’t appeal to me since, in my opinion, it needed more seasoning, but the wings and garlic mashed potatoes were fine.

We discovered this treasure in Harlem pre-Covid, but always ordered to go. After dining in for the Seafood Platter, a public review was the next, most logical step. Take it from a Floridian Peach… this place is the truth!!! I found myself almost speechless, hugging nearly everyone involved in the preparation of our meal.
