Used to love this place but went tonight and it was terrible. I had sweet and sour chicken and some pieces were no bigger than the end of my finger and some were larger. They were all cooked same time so therefore they were hard, dry and very over cooked. My husband had generals chicken and it to was horribly over cooked and dry. I said something to the owner and he basically said “it happens sometimes and walked away not to be seen again. The waitress asked if we wanted a box since neither of us ate our meal. We told her no and told her why. She came back and said owner told her to offer us 20 percent off!!!!! We tipped her well as it wasn’t her fault but to only give 20 percent off of inedible food was an insult. We paid our bill but we won’t be back. We loved this place and ate there about once a week but we are done with them.

Just used to love this place. Now, the shrimp in main entrees is rubbery or if fried, the batter is never cooked Al the way through. Veggie lo mein used to be plentiful but now, not so much. The egg drop soup is still delicious and plentiful. The spring rolls are still amazing.

The set up is very typical of Chinese food retaurant with booth and table of a casual place. In exchange you get good amount of hot cook meals with generous portion at reasonable price. We order two dinner combos, each came with fried-rice, a small bowl of soup (choice between egg-drop or hot-and-sour), and a side of eggroll or crab-rangoon. The Kung-pao beef was a bit on the sweet side but acceptabel. The chicken lo-mein was great. The total was about twenty before tips. The waitress was way to busy at times, seems overwhelmed with call-in order. Given the casual and somewhat dated settings, I can understand why this place get many more take-out orders than dine-ins.

I must say it was surprisingly great. Got to hotel last, saw the flyer and family were hungry so we ordered several meals. My wife is Thai and daughter mixed, so wasn’t expecting a lot from Asian food in Topeka, but wow. Was great on all items we ordered, not a single complaint on the food or super quick delivery service. Only a suggestion, when the order includes a soup, a spoon would help a bunch.

The food here was terrible. Like “spit it out into your napkin” terrible. I could not drive my fork into a piece of sesame chicken with all the force of both hands. They were literal stones. The crab rangoon filling was so watery that when I bit into it it ran all over my hand and plate. It tasted like sour milk. The fried rice had the texture of glue. I could go on but hopefully you get the point. Steer clear! Don’t know what is going on but this place has hit rock bottom.

So much flavorful food here and for great prices! The chicken on a stick is sooo yummy, tender and always cooked perfect. The honey walnut shrimp with broccoli is always my go to order here. Very unique, unlike any other I’ve had before. It’s breaded light you don’t feel to heavy and guilty after eating it. I love how the steamed broccoli that’s underneath soaks up all the delicious flavor of the bomb creamy sauce that it comes with. The best fried rice, it’s heavy and has more flavor than any fried rice I’ve had. It’s definitely not basic here. Also, a big plus is they deliver either through doordash or thru the restaurant. They give me complementary fresh fluffy sugar donuts a lot when I order here which they don’t have to do but means a lot, shows that they value their customers. 10/10 I love this place!

Food was over an hour late, driver was rude, sushi was warm, and order was wrong. When called the restaurant to check where our food was, the second time, we were told the order would be remade and delivered ASAP…That never happened. Service has never been that bad before. Probably will not be ordering from here again.
