This location is in a really cute spot in The Block. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla (pictured) and the carne asada loaded fries burrito. I’d give both a 3/5 – not bad but not particularly memorable, especially considering the price point.

I read that this place serves halal meat so o had to try it. When we got there I asked the lady and she confirmed that they serve halal meat. We ordered chicken taco, beef taco, mushroom and churros. Everything was tasty. Beef slices were nice and tender so was the chicken. One thing i would recommend it to get hot sauce or other sauces to get that extra kick.

The original place that was my introduction to birria tacos, which are off the chain. I also get the American queso, which is made with ground beef. They also have a chicken and a mushroom version that are great as well. The shells are soft but are grilled to have the perfect amount of crunch. Never had a bad taco here.

idk, i guess the quality varies on location. their college park location is always great, and we had their noma location recently. but this specific location was a thumbs down. not only did they not put any cheese in the burritos, they also cut all of the burritos so weird (photo attached). idk lol taste was terrible, literally no flavor/seasoning. couldn’t recommend this location to anyone – but would recommend their other locations. although, even then, they’re pretty overpriced. but / you get what you pay for quality wise! unless you come to this location… in which case it just really isn’t good at all lol.

Main question I had going in: are the loaded fries worth it? Wonder no more, these are deeply satisfying: crispy, thick-cut fries with a generous topping of carne asada. I paired these with the street corn side and it was enough lunch for a hungry lad. Will return to try other things, the array of Mexican pizza looked very tempting. Love the food hall locale, great vibes.

I will say ultimately the birria tacos I got would be considered great to most people who haven’t had different Hispanics make it. So I would recommend this place for anyone who likes Mexican food ❤️. The employees were nice and the service was good. But I can’t give 5 stars for the birria. It was good but not superior.
