It’s been so long since my family has been able to stop in at a LJS – they don’t have one in our area! – but this location did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Zyra (sp?), super friendly and helpful in taking our order as the menu has changed a bit in the couple of years since our last visit and even made a recommendation about sauce for our fosh. She apologized profusely for the wait as they were dropping a new basket of fish and chicken – who’s gonna complain about fresh food?! Zyra checked in with us again as we were leaving to follow up on her recommendations and see how we enjoyed our visit – no changes needed, food and service were excellent, this location just needs a bit of a face lift, I almost forgot this location was here!

It is very upsetting to go to a restaurant and your ticket doesn’t reflect the meal they give you.. Just shameful!! Not only I didn’t get what I paid for but had to drive all the way back up there and they acted as if it wasn’t a problem.. if I could add this picture of what I received.I would!!. And you would be mad too.. Long John Silver y’all need to do better.. this is ridiculous for the prices that you charge..

I was really impressed with the team working at this Long John’s. We don’t go out for seafood often but I took my elderly dad here today for a quick and early lunch. We were right at 11 a.m. and they were unlocking the doors and couldn’t have been more pleasant to the annoying people getting there early. 🙂 They were patient with my elderly dad being slow and easily confused. Brought our food out to our table for us. And the food (cod dinners) were darn good. Hush puppies cooked perfectly.

If the customers care was really their “upmost priority” like they say, then they would of taken care of the black mold you see when walking in. The general manager seems to also be a really peice of work himself. I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from this place.

Order 3 meals. When pulling up they did not ask if I want a drink tray even though I was alone and had 3 drinks. She didn’t give me my change back. It was only 7 cents, but should have been handed to me. After a long wait I was handed my food. And it was missing a meal. I also asked for ketchup and ranch. I was giving 4 Ketchup for three meals and no ranch.

Went for dinner at 6:15 pm and the entrance door was locked so I had to go in through the exit door. When I go to order only 1 employee was inside all others where out side in back of store smoking. I waited for 15 to 20 minutes for my food, when I went up to counter to ask about my food the employee said he will drop the fish in fryer right away. When I asked for my money back he didn’t know how to put the money back on my card so he called his boss. He couldn’t get ahold of his boss so he started to complain about me wanting my money back. I explained I had to leave and would like my money back on the card or cash back, he started to state he couldn’t give cash back and didn’t know how to put it back on my card. I ended up leaving after 30+ minutes without food or my money back. This location needs help ASAP not just with employees but with cleanliness of restaurant.

Came in the crew member was rude and didn’t pay attention to what we ordered. We got home order was completely wrong. We called back. And the manager said he would credit our order and when we called back to verify Devon the manager told us there was NO ORDER AND WE WERE S.O.L.

I have eaten at this location since I moved here in 2015. I have no complaints about the food. It satisfied my hunger. However, the service stinks. If I was the “Silent Partner” owner that nobody knew and witnessed what the employees were acting like, they would be replaced immediately. Their attitude and horsing around instead of helping the customers. I am really surprised that this location on 21st Street N hasn’t closed due to the way the employees were acting. Like I said, the food is great, but the service was way below of bad. I would rate the food at 5 stars, but I have to rate the service at below 1 star.
