Was there opening night. Servers seemed a bit overwhelmed, and the bar atmosphere made it a bit of a let down, especially for the price. Far too loud. I enjoyed my food but my date was apathetic about his.

Horrible happy hour. Ordered a regular sized beer and got charged more than it cost for a Jumbo happy hour brew. Asked for a well shot and got charged for a premium drink. Bartender said the well drinks were at happy hour prices but that a shot wasn’t a considered a well drink. I guess they don’t give you a shot in a well mixed drink. They must give you less booze when they add soda water or 7-up. A total rip- off! Much better deal at 38 degrees bar a couple of doors down the block. Better food at 38° too.

There was nothing wrong with our meal, but service could have been friendlier and the food was relentlessly eh. Like, if I were in an airport in Ohio and got served food like this, I’d think “ok, fair enough” but here in the LA area there is so much good Mexican food around that for the price, I can think of a number of better places I’d go instead. I didn’t drink, but their bar looked well stocked and if you’re into sports there were plenty of TVs with the games on.

Los Amigos had the best Micheladas I’ve ever drank. I also tried their fish tacos, best fish tacos ever!! So good that I’ve been thinking about them for the last 2 days and decided to even write this as one of the reviews I cannot wait to go back!!!

This is my first visit to Los Amigos, we went during their happy hour, they have a variety of Mexican dishes to select from as well as, several flavored margarita options and other cocktails; I enjoyed my ($5) promagranted margarita. The happy hour fish tacos, 3 large tacos per serving ($7), were good as well as their Chile relleno and enchilada combo dish. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and drink.
