Lotus garden restaurant serve Chinese cuisine. This place also serves buffet at lunch and dinner time that includes fried rice, Noodle, orange chicken, fish, shrimp, beef, grill, hibachi, fruits and so on. During weekdays dinner it cost $12 for per adult person. Food taste is not so great. Food taste is okay but loved their hospitality and service. They charge extra 3% ( after prices included tax) if you want to pay money by card. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

This was our first time visiting here. We live in Texas and were here for a softball tournament. It was okay. The food was not fresh unfortunately. The items we did eat tasted good but would have been so much better fresh. The service was good and the employees were nice.

Stopped by on the way home, and would definitely go back again. Staff was very friendly and prompt, and the food was great! Every city/town needs a nice chinese buffet like this one.

Ordered from the menu. Fried rice and General Tao’s chicken. Bowl of white rice had a hair in it. Sent it back. Then we got our food and found a hair in the fried rice. I spoke with the manager and she had a fresh rice made and sent 3 egg rolls over complimentary.

We hadn’t been there in years, but it was still a good/decent experience. We paid about $10 for the lunch buffet , which ends at 3pm. Drinks were $3. We went on a Thursday. We made it at 2:30 and the food wasn’t as fresh as it could’ve been, but around 2:50 they began replacing to prepare for dinner. This is when the boiled shrimp came out. They were pretty good!

After hearing that Lotus Garden was closing it’s doors, we were part of the countless numbers of people who flocked to their doors to give support and say farewell to a landmark restaurant in Lafayette. Upon checking out at the register, I asked the cashier what were the plans for all the waitstaff once the restaurant closed? She replied, that depends on if they decide to stay on with the new owner!!!

I keep going back… the food is actually very good, however; the the boiled crabs and crawfish don’t compliment they’re other dishes. As far as for service I’ll give him five stars, the restaurant is always clean and well kept. And I’m sure next time I’m craving Chinese food, this is where I’ll go.

We walked in, the restaurant was empty. We sat down and the lady went get our drinks. We use to come all the time and loved the food. Today we got up and walked around the buffet to get our food. Everything didn’t look pleasing at all. Not as much stuff they use to have. We sat down to eat and couldn’t even eat it. We tried to get another plate of something different but everything just looked so nasty. So we were just ready to leave at that point. When we go to pay we had just let them know that everything just wasn’t fresh and just not good. Her exact comment was “well I eat it everyday” If the food is bad thats one thing. But if service isn’t even good thats another. We will never be attending here again.
