Don’t waste your money. Worst Chinese buffet I’ve ever had. Food was not hot enough. Soups were very low in the pan and crusty. Asked for fresh soup on the buffet and they brought out hot water with a few mushrooms floating in it and poured it in with an old soup and gave it a stir. Chicken was not cooked enough. Some pieces tasted really funny. Felt like I was eating food poisoning.

Had a very nice experience this past Sunday for lunch at lucky star. We were slightly hesitant to give it a try because of the mixed reviews but we are so glad we did. They have a wide selection of items on the buffet and they are all very flavorful and fresh. Soft drinks are included which is a nice touch. Give this place a chance, you won’t regret it.

I am a firm believer that everyone should try something once and form their own opinion about things, however that doesn’t always stop me from sharing my own on things. My family and I love Chinese buffets, we are Asian-American and love the Americanized Chinese foods. We’ve been to this restaurant a couple times and have always had varying experiences. The food itself wouldn’t be horrible , but unfortunately nothing ever seems to be fresh. Food can be undercooked or overcooked or just plain hard from sitting under the heat lamp all day. They raised their prices and it is most certainly not worth what you wind up paying. I’ve watched them just add hot water to items that are dried out and most likely old. Our most recent visit some of the food legitimately smelled like wet dog. I held my breath while trying to eat what was on my plate in fear of being charged for food taken and not eaten, per their take only what you can eat sign. They will charge for excessive waste. The floor in the bathroom was so sticky too that I felt like I was getting ready to slide right out of my shoes with every step. Overall I think everyone could have a different experience but I just thought I would share mine.

Been going here for years, ALWAYS CLEAN!!! Only problem I see is the food all needs to be put out at 11:00 as that’s to be when they open but have to wait 20 min to get all out on bars! Very clean and friendly people of course if you go hours between lunch and dinner you may get things dried out or cold but if you tell them they will get fresh for you. Wish they had more for salad and mash potatoes

This used to be a good place.. yet, the food was cold and the children that have now grown up were laying in the booths with their bare feet on the tables.. doubtful we’ll ever go there again and that’s a shame.. i understand they are bored with practically living at the restaurant.. but now they’re just gross

Was probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, super bland, half the food didn’t taste like what it was supposed to be. Food was barley warm, the only good item they had were probably their potatoes but those were still cold.

It’s noon 12:46 afternoon lunch time.. Food is very very dry, drink cups are stupid small, bathrooms are disgusting, this place needs a serious make over, this my first time her in over 5 years.. I will gladly drive to westfield China buffet from now on.. and the food has a lot of red dye.. msg to the max fruit had flies flying around and just gross. What a dump this place is. Egg rolls are absolutely garbage and the crab Rangoon was dried up and the dumplings are gross.

Food was typical mass Chinese buffet, but only not a lot of quantity. Dishes were empty waiting to be filled, the rest were almost gone. I’ve been here 4 times now, hoping it’s different, but no. Taste and quality is good and what you expect, just don’t expect many trips to the understocked bars.
