Luigis has a nice, quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. They can sometimes be busy, but not this Sunday evening. The pasta sampler was as expected, not a wow factor food, but typically done and tasty. The stuffed mushrooms special was delicious. We did let the wait staff know they were out of soap on the restrooms, and they noted that they were working on fixing that issue.

We were greeted as soon as we entered. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. My son, who never eats anything new, tried and loved everything we were served. We will definitely return.

The food was a 6. The service was a 10. The sauce was greasy(need a better sauce) and ordered two different dishes but they looked the same enough the waiter got them mixed up setting them on the table. Had to fork thru them to see which was which, one lasagna and one trio sampler of pasta. (The menu has great choices and great selections too)The salad wasn’t great as the lettuce was already turning brown(rust). Need more restaurants in the area but with quality food preparation.

We were really impressed with our meal. I had the cheese ravioli and my partner had lasagna. The pasta dishes come with delicious olive oil and garlic round toasts. The salad was okay. I think we could have ordered 2 side salads instead of the one salad to share. It might be a better deal. The house dressing has a nice tang and was very good. Next time, we might dine in instead of take out. The restaurant is quaint and appears to be owned and run by a family. It feels better to support local businesses. They do have lunch specials, as well. Thank you, Luigi’s!

Owner is a wonderful man. Pleasant and informative. My meat Stromboli was perfect! The Alfredo sauce on my husband’s pasta was the best we have ever tasted. What a gem hidden in downtown Elgin. Their desserts hit the sweet tooth

Just visited the newly re-opened Luigi’s of Elgin. With all new Chef and staff, the service was friendly and timely. I enjoyed the food, although the sauce has changed and is a little spicy now. Wheel chair and stroller friendly. Great place to take the whole family!

Great Italian restaurant. We got the sampler as well as the stuffed mushrooms, and they were incredible. Everything is made from scratch, in house, hard to beat. We will definitely be coming back, recommended for great service and for a wonderful meal!

The ambience was perfect for a family meal setting. The service was pretty good meeting all the standard expectations and there was a friendly, welcoming vibe that felt inclusive. The food was fresh tasting and didnt take any longer than needed for hungry people. I would recommend stopping for a nice meal on a trip from Austin to Houston.
