Definitely in my top three favorite restaurants in the area! Indian food and actually good vegetarian options! My friends and I absolutely love this place. We sometimes go three times in one week. I usually get Veg Makhni (was named Navratan Korma before), Baingan Saraf and the aloo gobi. First one is my all time favorite, mixed veggies in a creamy curry. Oh I wish I could make these at myself because I crave them all the time! Absolutely amazing. The chili naan is my favorite, second favorite is the garlic. I recommend getting a mango lassi. Samosas are ok but my partner loves them. The staff is really sweet too.

I don’t know what took me so long to find and try this gem! The service was wonderful and the food was incredible. We ordered: samosas, naan, vegetable biryani, butter chicken, and malai Kofta plus 2 mango lassis to go. The ambiance is a dim clean bar- like atmosphere with great music that’s not too loud. We will definitely be back soon!

I would never have imagined one day I’d find myself on the road to Rock Falls, Illinois to end up enjoying some of the best Indian food. Their garlic naan is fluffy, the Tandoori chicken is both delicious and comes with mega portions, make sure you try the butter goat!! To top it off, the friendly face of Kupuvi who made sure I was well taken care of and provided the best customer service you could ask for. Thank you.

We’ve been here a couple times for take out and it’s been delicious every time. The Paneer Tikka Masala is fantastic and we love the naan bread. The food is rich and very flavorful, such a treat for dinner in the Sauk Valley area!

This is my fourth time eating Mak’s (or Indian food in general) and I’m totally obsessed. This is truly a hidden gem in Rock Falls but I hope it doesn’t stay hidden too long. The food has been excellent and affordable every time, and the servers are very personable. Go check it out!

We didn’t even know this place existed until recently and placed an online order. We’ve lived many places with Indian restaurants but weren’t aware of any that served Indian food alongside their other menu offerings around here. The food and experience were excellent and reminded us of places we’ve been as far away as Phoenix or Tampa. It’s really nice to have this here. I can’t speak to the American part of the menu but the Indian food is fantastic. They also have excellent vegetarian options.

This was me and wife’s first time eating Indian cuisine. Everything was delicious and has a very unique flavors. I had the Tikka masala and my wife has the shrimp biryani. Both dishes were served very well portion wise. We also had the mango lassi delicious . The butter naan also was very soft and crispy. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Never had Indian food and I can say I am happy we gave it a try. Everything was made fresh and was really good Samsoa, Onion Bhaji and Naan bread for appetizers. The dinner plate was lamb chop and they were juciy an flavorful more of lollipop lamp then chops though. We will definitely be back to try everything on the menu. If your looking for something different then all this fast food give this a try can’t stress enough it was all fresh and delicious. They have a clay oven as well.
