Bread service and arancini were delicious. Lobster ravioli was OK. Eggplant parm and rigatoni with vodka sauce were good. Cookies were tasty. Very cute place with great service. On street parking hard to find but parking garage was right behind it. The tables are seated very close together. Noise level is high.

This beautiful little quaint restaurant was absolutely amazing! We went here for dinner and the food and service were very good! Made reservations a month in advance anticipating amazing food based on other reviews. The food was fine, nothing special. It is very reasonably priced for an Italian dinner. Mama’s has a nice ambiance, feels like you’re eating in someone’s home. We got the calamari (okay), eggplant parmigiana (eggplant was not cooked thru and a little hard), and mushroom ragu (tad greasy).

Delicious food and amazing desserts. It’s our first time here. We loved all the food we ordered especially fried calamari with banana peppers, focaccia, chicken parmesan, and rigatoncini with vodka sauce. The chicken parmesan was crispy outside yet so juicy and flavorful inside. The rigatoncini was so tasty that we’re all thinking of ordering it again next time.

I’ve now had two incredible meals at Mama’s with great service too. The gnocchi was so dreamy that I had to go back shortly after my first visit. This dish is a close second to one I loved and enjoyed in Verona, Italy. I’m always leary of any other gnocchi dish and how it will compare. The balance of flavors and textures with the crispy prosciutto and roasted hazelnuts are delightful with the pillowy clouds in a pesto sauce.

Mama’s is our favorite Italian restaurant in the Cincy/NKY area! The food is consistently delicious and the vibe can’t be beat. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and our favorites continue to be the calamari, chicken parm, and spaghetti and meatballs.

Mama’s was great. The ambiance is awesome – like many Covington spots it feels like a cozy old home inside. There is a rooftop patio which we will look forward to in summer.
