One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to (I’m from NY). Food is flavorful, created with passion, perfect service/ambiance every time. Worthy of a Michelin star. Are you not entertained?!

A very nice evening the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating, All the dishes were delicious our steaks were cooked perfectly! Medium size wine list with a couple of gems. We’re hoping Santa brings them some Riedel or equivalent stemware for Christmas.

This place is excellent, one of our favorite meals in SF. We started with the caesar and wedge salads, then shared the flat iron steak and fries for our main. Everything was really great. Oh and the bread pudding is divine, I’m not even a BP fan, but this one changed my mind! Would be remiss if I didn’t mention the wonderful here too. All around great meal and experience.

I really want to be as honest as possible for this review it was our 23rd anniversary(6-20-23) and we decided to go here because it was highly recommended, when we arrived the atmosphere was beautiful the front-end staff was excellent, we only waited maybe a moment to be seated,(really no surprise as we had a reservation) the only problems we had was the fact that the chairs are awful they sink in and you’re basically sitting on a frame it was extremely uncomfortable, the food took forever to come out and when it did it was on cold plat’s and mine had a chip in it, (not very clean in my opinion) and just tacky, the food was just ok the cuts of meat are nothing special at all and our waiter was just much to talky. we did enjoy the flight of sauces that was great the drink menu was just blah, and the best thing about the desert was the pinion brittle, I also had an espresso which was really nice, the restaurant was extremely empty only about five tables full on the evening we went I felt as though we could have had a better experience and there shouldn’t have been so much of a wait for our food we arrived at 7pm and didn’t eat until 9:30 and they were closing up the place around us. We spent $300 and a $60 tip. We also feel as though the owner was too busy smooching with her friends in order to figure out other customers needed help she was drinking and very LOUD, And our server was too busy talking to his friends about his vacations to Colorado and his move and his children to notice when we wanted service.

I’m not from Santa Fe, nor do I live here – but I’ve started a little tradition of coming here every year for my birthday dinner. I’ve dined in my fair share of amazing restaurants but Market Steer delivers an experience that is seriously a cut above the rest.

The menus options are an excellent value. The dining experience overall is very pleasant. The staff and greeter was very nice. Our waiter was wonderful, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. However, we asked for medium well and got medium rare filet and wagyu—but still delicious! The chile butter and bread was phenomenal! The crab cakes, mashed potatoes, and chicken and lobster macaroni and cheese weren’t anything special in my opinion. The crème brûlée we had for dessert would have been perfect if it weren’t for the abundant amount of salt crystals used to garnish it. It was incredibly salty and ruined the dessert.

Service is fantastic. Food was great. Steak was slightly overdone, but still very good. They offered a new but we declined.
