This place is Heaven on earth. Prepare for a wait, but it is totally worth it. Such a cute ambiance- perfect for smaller groups. The food and cocktails are PHENOMENAL. I second that this is the best pad Thai in the city if not the world. Highly recommend the duck curry too. A must try, can’t wait to go back! PS trust the hype – Gigi is even better than the reviews say!

I was on my usual routines on weekends and was aimlessly walking around and found this awesome spot! Southern Thai cuisine. I started with a thai aperetif that they serve with pickled green mango with chili. Then I had their cocktail with Pandan. The smell of Pandan reminds me so much of the motherland. Then I had their whole branzino! Huwow! One of the best meals I’ve had in a long while! Gigi was PHENOMENAL!! She was super instinctive, boss lady, funny, and just sweet and beautiful! The branzino is good to share but I ate it ALL! And please, if you order this, don’t ask the server or the chef to debone for you…please don’t do that. Eat it with your hands and make sure you get every single pinbones..lol! And they didn’t care either I was using my hands coz that’s how you know it’s that good!! Get the cheeks too, my favorite part! For dessert had the coconut ice cream with dessicated coconut. Amazing food! The chefs are rockstars! Really awesome vibe inside. I super enjoyed my time. Last thing, don’t go with the typical pad thai…explore the whole Southern Thai cuisine!

I was here when Asher Swing was complaining about his food and saw/heard the restaraunt owner try to fix the issue and accomodate him. She was very nice and helpful! I highly recommend coming as the staff is very friendly and willing to help with any issue along with the food and drinks tasting amazing!

This restaurant is such a GEM in the city!!! I tried them for the first time last night and it was such a great experience. Our appetizers, entrees, and drinks (especially the Thai shots with their benefits) were incredible. I also have to highlight our host, Gigi — such a warm and awesome person! This place is a must-try and I do suggest making a reservation. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

The food and service was amazing! The staff are very friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The portions are great and the food was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Thai Iced Tea is also delicious! The decor and ambiance is also amazing, and quite romantic. Great place for a date night. If and when I come back to NYC I will definitely be visiting again!

My friend and I had a fantastic dinner at May Ree. The service was excellent and everyone at the restaurant was kind and helpful. They made excellent recommendations and everything we ate was delicious. This was one of the best Thai food dinners I’ve ever had. The highlights were the Hed Tod and the Roti Nam Keang. Best Massaman curry and roti ever! And the cocktails were art.

Absolutely delightful delicious meal, got to try some southern Thai dishes I never had before! Highly recommend bacon-wrapped sausage and peanut dumplings, the dry curries and fried chicken. The Thai moonshine shots are a great way to start! Excellent service as well, very friendly.
