It was 1961. Alan Shepard was the USA’s first man in space. Dion’s “Runaround Sue” topped the music charts. Volkswagen’s funny little car invaded America in droves. And a young school teacher opened a small, one-man pizza restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was to be the birthplace of the growing, dynamic Mazzio’s LLC of today.
That original restaurant—named The Pizza Parlor—delighted many Tulsans with the very first pizza they ever ate. The school teacher was Ken Selby, who ran his new business virtually alone and after a full day of teaching.

Ordered a side salad with southwest ranch, the loaded cheese dippers, and chicken Alfredo online for delivery. It was ontime, I ordered in advance for a timed delivery. My food was decently hot, but the cheese dippers were lacking of the star ingredient, just a little light on the cheese, and were somewhat dry. The pasta was overcooked and mushy in spots, the salad was great, but all in all I enjoyed my meal.

Visiting Tulsa and decided to eat here. Thinking it was going to be like every other Mazzios. They didn’t have a salad bar. I ordered a house salad and nothing but lettuce and cheese was on it. I brought it to their attention about what else was missing on it. Like everything was missing. (Tomatoes, Onions, Peppers, croutons). They gave me it all in the side but they told me at first they just haven’t updated the menus but their salads don’t come with all of that anymore. Also ordered pizza and they forgot the pepperoni. Got wings that were supposed to be the hottest buffalo but they didn’t taste hot at all. The cheese bread was good. Place was not clean at all. Our shoes were sticking to the floor. Don’t recommend coming back here.

I never review anything. But I was just so disgusted. The pizza was not cooked. The dough was still raw in the middle. The vegetables were barely heated. The calizone was flat and also uncooked. Do not order ur food from here or if you do carry out so you can check it before it leaves the store. Cheese dippers were good and peppers nice n spicy.

I waited over an hour to get my two medium pizzas. It was ridiculous! They hadn’t even made them after 40 minutes of waiting in store… these guys are amateurs that dont care about what they are doing at all. The manager could really do a better job. I love the pizza but it really bums me out that I have to deal with these people to eat it again. The girl at the front desk was sweet and the most pleasant employee there.

Service was terrible, the young lady that was helping me, walked away to help someone else and he had to tell her all the items in his order. The food was okay and I should have checked before I left but once home found she forgot my dipping sauce. There was also a driver walking around the cutting table talking with no mask. I think I am going to have to change locations going forward.
