The quality is usually worth the price, but today I felt otherwise. I ordered online & showed up AFTER my expected time of completion, yet my lunch still wasn’t ready. After waiting 15 additional minutes, I rushed out the door to enjoy my lunch break before it ended. When it came time to eat, my sandwich had no spread nor did it have any of the customizations I requested when I ordered online. I understand that lunch is a busy time, but as a customer, I feel that I paid too much to wait for an extremely long time to get the opposite of what I ordered. No one wants to eat a dry sandwich!

I did an Uber Eats order. I ordered the veggie sandwich and cucumber and tomato salad. The sandwich had potential but just wasn’t a winner for me. It could use more spread (for flavor) and maybe some purple onion. The salad was good.

This location is really an unfortunate situation. The food at McAlister’s deli is great. The sandwiches, soups, and salads are all very good. This location however there is another story. The service (or lack of) here is horrific. No greeting, or even evidence that they even noticed that someone arrived. They just stand and stare at you until you start speaking your order. This location is always out of multiple items, you name it, broccoli cheddar soup, turkey, etc. Tonight it was a full 25 minutes from the time on my receipt until my food was ready, while two employees had their head down on the table in the corner of the dining room. Mr. Franchisee, wake up and do something. All of your reviews are terrible and say the same thing. We love the food but EVERYTHING else about your restaurant is HORRIBLE.

The employees were nice enough but the food was not good and they were out of a long list of stuff. Just what I remember off the top of my head they were out of drinking cups, lids, roast beef, broccoli and cheese soup, nachos, tortilla strips, and other items. The potato soup I ordered tasted freezer burned and was barely warm. They had some random tiny cups, so I ordered a coke with my meal. It tasted awful and I couldn’t drink it. The club sandwich I got was decent but the bread tasted burnt and was difficult to eat without a drink. My husband wanted the french dip but as I stated earlier they were out of roast beef. Our daughter had the Mac and cheese. It was not very good either. This seems to be a manager problem not an employee problem. Needless to say we won’t be visiting this location again.

On June 11, 2023, my family and I dined-in for lunch at the McAlister’s located at 1605 GA Hwy 20, McDonough, GA 30253. The host, Keyana, was pleasant and took our order. However, the customer before us requested to speak with the manager about a refund because her order was made incorrectly twice. Keyana went into the back to get the manager to speak with the customer about the refund.

Worst experience ever. I ordered a spicy southwest chicken sandwich. Got the sandwich home and saw there was no chicken on it – just vegetables. Took it back up there. It was 2 minutes past closing. Told them there was no chicken on the sandwich and they said come back tomorrow. There was no effort to rectify their mistake. I will be calling and writing corporate.

No sense of urgency at this place. Service is extremely too slow. No greeting what’s so ever. Cashier should just quit. With 5 workers at 2:00 pm and an empty dining room….I’m unsure of what the problem is here. Not to mention the workers all looked like they would rather be anywhere than here. It’s extremely cold in the restaurant. Every time I get the pecan strawberry salad it’s made different. Management needs to intervene and fast….. would NOT RECOMMEND. Do better
