Ordered carry out and it was absolutely horrible!!! The worst meal I’ve had in a while! Sandwich was a chicken salad and it was completely smashed and mostly lettuce that tasted awful! The cucumber tomato salad maybe filled the cup half way and had no dressing at all and only one and a half slices of cucumber and maybe 5 small cubes of tomatoes, mostly onions. Got 4 1/2 small stale tortilla chips for the very slimy chicken tortilla soup. Honestly would not take this meal if it was given to me!

The staff and manager were great! I have a dairy allergy and the manager double checked some ingredients for me and they were very helpful. Very much appreciated! Food was good. Atmosphere was good. Highly recommend Auburn McAlister’s!

Always room for improvement especially when items listed on menu are not available. Simple items like desserts or soup. Ordered wrap after cashier had difficulty understanding which part of the menu I was ordering from. Perhaps new employee. Cost of salad, side said wrap and 2 teas was pretty costly compared to lack of flavor and lack of good friendly service. Unfortunately the avocado salad, yes avocado was in the name of the salad, wasn’t as expected. There were no avocado’s on the salad at all! When inquired where the avocado’s were employee said they are hard, too hard to cut did you still want them? Sadly never told avocado’s were not available with other items not in stock. No discount or coupons for future visits were offered. Makes a customer feel like a number nit valued at all!

Does not even have a drive thru like other McCallisters. I give this place very little time. Had one in another city and same thing. Start off strong and will go downhill. Sandwiches are dry, spuds are good but they always seem to be out of a spud topping. Overpriced place for what you get. Service is hilarious, they don’t really eat their own food so they can’t recommend anything It is a very nice atmosphere for a sandwich shop.

We decided to try this location instead of our usual McAlister’s. We ordered our food and sat down. When our food arrived, one of the employees (I’m thinking it was the manager) apologized for it taking so long. Mind you, it was not very long at all considering our order was for a family of 4! He explained that the oven they use to bake their potatoes wasn’t working correctly, and they had to microwave them to finish the cooking process. He apologized profusely and offered some freebies to us. We decided on a dessert- brookies it was!

Not nearly as good or generous sized portions as FW stores. I ordered you pick 2 and the salad was much smaller than normal. Also ordered club sandwich, with white bread instead of wheat. I received a 1 layer Turkey sandwich. I took it back and explained their photo and description were for normal 2 layer club. (3 slices of bread, etc) Mine was missing a layer. She explained that when you substitute bread you lose a layer of the sandwich. HUH????? So because I changed only the COLOR of the bread, I got a 1 layer cold meat sandwich, but got to pay for a CLUB??? She explained and said “is that ok?” Um no. It is not ok.

Unfortunately, my experience today was not typical. I used the online app to enter an order only to be confronted by the inability of the local (Auburn, IN) to process an online order. I went to the store and discovered it has been dealing with this issue all day. Apparently, the app is controlled by a national group where that specific store was “turned off” for online orders, without even informing the local store! The local manager did respond in a way I will continue to consider my future online orders will be there. The management of the online system needs to be better handled!!!!!

I’m giving a three star for this restaurant. I ordered today and they just opened this past Monday. The food-delicious and fresh. The service was not the best. I opted for pick up. I got a sandwich, a drink and some soup. I did not get a straw for my drink or a spoon for my soup. Of course, yes, all of these things would have been easier for me to get if I just went inside but with a pickup window, it’s easier for me. Not thrilled with my first experience here.
