Picked up two choose-two orders to go. The bread was nearly burned and made the sandwich taste off. I tried calling the resturant three times 30 minutes before closing. It rings 3-5 times and then hangs up.

Our first time at a McAlisters Deli. Read reviews here prior to our visit too. Service was the best I could ask for. Food was great! Wanted to find a good French dip for my wife and they did a great job! Restaurant was clean, staff was nice/friendly. We will certainly be back!

The food was delicious. I had the spicy southwest chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was my first time having it. The chili was also good, along with the Caesar salad. The lemonade was also tasty. The overall service rocked, it started when I walked through the door. I was greeted by Shelby and my food was brought out by another person who was really informative. As, I walked out the door the same lady offered me a refill. Great service is such a treasure these days! I recommend everyone come to McAlister’s for a delightful meal!

Ordered a Choose 2 and got a half a Just A Spud (which was exactly what I got a half a baked potato without any of the things that was suppose to come on it) and a half a reuben sandwich (which was one of the most horrible things that I have ever tried to eat, corned beef was extremely tough, and it might have had a tsp spoon of saurkraut on it, sauces on it were way off, the bread it was on was toasted and the sandwich was burned terribly on the only part of the sandwich where the bread had actually been toasted, this tasted and looked nothing like a reuben sandwich), ordered a BLT w/Avo and when I opened the sandwich container I wondered why the bread had not been toasted but once I looked on the inside of it guess what?, the inside of the bread was burnt just like the reuben was, the toasted part had been used to put the stuff on to cover up the burned part and there was very little bacon on it and the tomato was small slices of roma tomatoes that had no taste at all to them, the avocado that was suppose to be on it was 3 very, very thin slices BUT there was an over abundance of some sort of lettuce or greenery on it. I use to love to go to McCalister’s in Longview, Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana to eat but will definitely not be giving my business to the one in Natchitoches, LA. If I had not lived so far away from the restaurant I would have taken every bit of it back but instead it was put out with the trash. My total bill including Service Fees and Tip for the Dash delivery came to an estimated $45.81. Don’t understand why it is estimated but I can assure you that they will not get any more of my money. Would not recommend it to anyone at this point. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!

Please train your employees that this is not okay. After they put the wrong soup in a breadbowl, they brought me a cracked breadbowl to pour my soup in. This is ridiculous. The order should have been brought out correctly. She knew it was wrong because she came out explaining how they got it wrong and put the wrong soup in a breadbowl. I enjoy this place but if you don’t get your people trained in customer service you will go down fast. People should get what they pay for and if itnis wrong it should be corrected. And not corrected with another mistake. Customer service is so much more than yelling welcome when someone walkis in.

They seemed to be a little short staffed, but the employees there were very nice and stayed busy. The restaurant and tables were clean. And I was pleased to discover that they were willing to “extra” toast the jalopeno bread on my sandwich!

Guess I am due a bad experience because we have eaten there at least 30 times and the food and service has always been impeccable. I also have ordered take out to take to friends that are ill and they always say that McAlister’s is their order on line favorite. The Chicken n Dumplin Soup is the one item I wish they would carry YEAR ROUND. Their Chili cannot be beat. Love all the sandwiches we have eaten there and will be dining again today with our family.

My husband took us there tonight 1/23/23 for dinner. First bad experience was the customer service. The cashier taking our order made a comment “ugh just go away customers” then turned to look at the cook and tell her that she just wants people to stop coming in. I let it slide, due to being super hungry and super pregnant. Was just ready to sit down and get our meal. Once we sat down, I grabbed the Splenda container on the table and had a cockroach jump out at me. I smashed it with the container and told my husband I was done, don’t want to eat here. So he asked for a cancelation of the food and our money back. Hoping it refunds back to our card, because the receipt didn’t show if it was or not. Hire new staff, clean the place up!

Everyone was friendly, the food was quick. The children’s menu was a larger price than expected for dine in, and it didn’t come with a cookie, though the menu said so. Overall really happy there are fresh food options in Natchitoches so they’re doing great. Just make sure your menu reflects what you’re getting.
