All the good things I heard about this are so very true. Really good food. Had the brisket and it had amazing flavor. (I’m from Texas so it has my approval) Then I’m assuming it had to have been the owner that was taking care of us. She was the nicest and most genuine human being. Throughly enjoyed Meat Hook.

The best pork ribs I’ve had. Wonderful people and a delightful patio with natural rock formations and a waterfall

I travel a lot, and that’s the best barbecue. I’ve had all summer amazing across-the-board.

Brisket sandwich was great. French fries would be a good addition to the menu

Loved it! Had the cheesy cow, super crispy fries which helps a dish like that. Brisket was chopped and flavorful.

Had the pulled Pork Bowl at the fair. Pork was tasteless and so was the coleslaw and the salted potatoes. No butter for the potatoes and no salt taste. Small portions for $17. Stay away very far away if you want a meal with flavor and value!

Staff was wonderful and friendly. Atmosphere is one of the most up to date in town. The only place the restaurant was lacking was in the food department. As someone whose eaten BBQ all over the US, it was probably one of my least favorite. Meat was dry and more like boiled pork than smoked. Mac and cheese was oddly grey and lacking in flavor. The beans tasted like they came from a can vs anything homemade. If menu improved would definitely come back for the friendly people and atmosphere.

Left hungry… Almost.. Had to buy 2 meals.. portions sucked.. Pulled pork was dry and tasted like the shavings that fall off on the meat slicer
