Fun restaurant that provides an experience as well as great food. Amazing carnitas, awesome guacamole, and all around amazing food. The staff was also professional and friendly. Also, they decorate well for holidays, which is very cool.

DELICIOSO! On my latest trip to the City, this cool restaurant was only a couple blocks up from my hotel, and we decided to go in for a late brunch after we checked in. As it was brunch, I decided I had to have a drink, and since it was a Mexican, I got a Bloody Maria, which was spectacular with a spicy seasoned rim and a crisp, fresh lime. My companion ordered a margarita, which was likewise very tasty. House chips and salsa were fresh and fantastic. For my entree, I got Chilaquiles con Huevo y Pollo, and it was one of the best Mexican dishes I’ve ever had in the USA even in spite of my egg yolks being cooked through, not “over-easy” as I requested. This was the only flaw; everything else was perfect. Deep salsa verde, fresh tortillas, tender and nicely crisped chicken, queso fresco, and crema. My +1 got huevos divorciados, the classic dueling red and green sauces over poached eggs, frijoles negros, and jamon. The bartender was really friendly and helpful, and though we only had one alcoholic drink each with our meal, he kept our water glasses full throughout our meal, and conversed with us pleasantly. After dinner I had a Corralejo Blanco, which was a nice finish to the meal. It rang up as a Don Julio Blanco, which was weird, but I figured they were the same price or something, so I didn’t say anything. The liquor not on special was a bit steep, but we found the brunch reasonable.

The margaritas and guacamole that is made table side is great here. Unfortunately the food is over priced and not really worth it. Usually I order the nachos with coworkers and the portions are never the same. Sometimes horribly small, sometimes over loaded.

Good Margaritas and great Maduros… Tacos weren’t what I was expecting but very tasty. Service was good despite the place being packed, highly recommended.

Better than expected Mexican food. The salsa here is delicious. Probably freshly made with the ingredients still identifiable to the eye. I ordered shrimp al diablo. It was so nice to see a side dish of vegetables. The musgrooms were grilled and tasty. The rice was great and i am not a rice fan! My only complaint was that the food and plate were served dangerously hot and i had to wait 5 minutes for the food to cool down.

Is better than what I thought. Good portions and taste. Not cheap but not expensive either, probably a little high but it worthy. Service is good. I recommend it and if I’m in the upper west, I would come back.

The drinks were amazing!!!! Prices were affordable if you go at happy hour. I love that there was a mariachi band. All in all an amazing experience. Will definitely go back. Did I mention the tequila infused pineapples?

I had some Carnitas for dinner. This restaurant is quite a nice place. It is really a bright place because of the windows-wall in the front of the restaurant. Btw nothing was spicy at all.
