Good ingredients, fast service, friendly environment. Only have it 3/5 stars because I asked for no lettuce and they covered it in lettuce. Also the price point is a little rough. Spent 10 bucks for a 7 inch sub with turkey and cheese on it.

Best Deli in Roanoke! Mike does it the right way with good fresh ingredients. Philly steak sub & Mike’s deli sub are my favorite. Friendly and quick service. Always get a good laugh whenever I visit. Also don’t waste Mike’s pickles people!!

So my wife and I were driving back to Florida from Maine w our 4 damn kids and stayed a night in Roanoke. We were hangryashell and were about to stop at a fast food restaurant but then something happened where the turn us was weird and I missed it..whatever…God’s Providence. I said to my wife, “I wish I could find a deli or something”. Just as I said that a light shined down on Mike’s deli. But just because God shines a light down on a deli doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be amazing. Anyway, my wife went in. She said the guys were super kind. They inquired about where she was from and complimented her sandwich toppings. Said she must be from up north because she knows how to doctor up a sandwich. Nope. Florida, homie. But that’s all that these gents got wrong. It has been a week since I had that sandwich. I believe it was called the “All American” or something like that. I shouldn’t have used quotes because I’m not sure but I’m not editing. Anyway, they said we’d be back after trying them. I’m trying to figure out how to get back up there. It was that good. Top 5 sandwiches I’ve ever had and maybe #1. My wife absolutely loved hers as well. God’s Providence. Thank you, Mike…and thank you, Lord.

Found this little place as I was driving by. The place was very clean and the service was very friendly. I love boar’s head products and was excited that they used them. The sub I got was delicious and toasted just right. The wait wasn’t long either. The owner, Mike, noticed that it was my first time visiting and even took the time to learn my name and where I’m from. They have definitely earned my business as a repeat customer.
