Clean, great atmosphere, and the food is more than DELICIOUS!!!!! It’s almost difficult to say DELICIOUS because it is beyond that. Everything is so fresh. Service is FANTASTIC!!!!! The owner Steven is the most down to earth friendly guy. He is very engaged with every aspect of his restaurant. His staff are happy and very friendly. I was so pleased to be able to talk to Steven and he had his kitchen staff stir me up the BEST burrito I have EVER had. Steven was such a delight and very interested in hearing our thoughts and input. We are already planning our next visit!!!!!!!

We’re so excited to have Moctezuma’s in the area! Not only is it within walking distance of our neighborhood, but the food is fresh, handcrafted, savory, and consistently good. Handcrafted margaritas and bottled and tap beers are available. Service is phenomenal and staff help has improved since its establishment. We have visited numerous times since its soft opening in November 2022. The owner is very friendly, exuberant, passionate, appreciates feedback, and aims to please! With the warmer season, the outdoor patio space is a fun vibe for fur babies to join and happy hour margarita toasts with friends/family. We look forward to our continued support of this local business.

Based on all the other reviews I may have caught this place on an off night…walked in about 7, there were a couple of people in front of us. No host/hostess. Stood there for about 10 minutes and employees noticed us but no one was acknowledged. It was busy but nothing out of the ordinary for a weekend night esp on cinco de Mayo. People in front of us essentially seated themselves. Stood there for a few more minutes. Has to flag someone down at the bar to ask if it was free seating or what. More people came in behind us equally as confused, more standing around. Finally get seated, table is not clean, food on the floor. Another 10 mins at least before anyone acknowledged us. Finally got drinks in. Ordered a jalapeño cucumber margarita, was straight sour mix in a plastic cup. Powered through some of it as I was so thirsty and never received the water I ordered. Was going to remind my waiter but didn’t see him again for 30 minutes. Food took so long to come out we about left. Jalapeño dip is tiny, was cold and came in a plastic cup. Jalapeño poppers not bad. Entrees were actually pretty tasty but not enough to save the experience. Had to get our own silverware. Waiter was nice when he was around but the staff in general just seemed unbothered about the fact that many people were getting ignored. Others were certainly frustrated as well. Hate to leave a bad review after one experience but I am so perplexed at the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this place I wanted to save someone else the disappointment.

They have just opened with a soft menus but the food is amazing. Very authentic! They know what spice is! I can’t wait to see what the full menu will be. The staff was very helpful and very attentive. The owner checked on us and made sure we were taken care. We will definitely be back! Had the Lengua(cow tongue) today it was good don’t be afraid to try it! The me Mexican street corn is good as well.

This place is amazing! I wanted to try something different in the area and decided to give this place try. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with welcoming smiles! After being seated the owner walked over and introduced himself as well as new things on the menu that weren’t listed! He was super nice!

This was my first time visiting your restaurant. I placed an order to go and decided to have a margarita while I waited. The service was fantastic. The waiter was very polite and answered all my questions and made some recommendations. I got home and must say this is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had since I moved to SC. So very, very good. I will definitely be coming back. My new favorite place for sure!!!
