Surprisingly good sushi on Main Street in Middletown. We got a variety of rolls from their copious menu. They were all delicious, as was the edamame. The ambiance is a little weird, with a lot of blue light and too much air conditioning. But go for the food, not the decor. You’ll get a good meal.

Usually this place doesn’t miss. Tonight took the cake. We decided to try the Pad thai. It was really bad. I have never seen pad Thai be orange, it did t taste like pad thai other than having peanuts on it. The usually sushi that I order was also not good. The rice seemed like it was days old and each sushi piece fell apart before they could leave the container. It also seemed like we got less than usual. When I get two rolls it typically comes in two containers this time it was just one. The gyoza was cold and soggy. We arrived to pickup the order not long after what was listed on our confirmation. For $60 this was a big disappointment.

After eating 1/2 soft shell crab, I Sent food back. It was awful. Waitress told me it’s “hit or miss” that was alarming. They refused to credit me and was still charged for it. Restaurants should never argue with a customer in anyway. I Spoke with the manager on the phone when I got home and got an argument from her as well! Hindsight, Looking at a lot of these very poor reviews, I should’ve known better. management obviously does not care about return business, I basically got hung up on. This was my first and will be my last time I support this business!

I haven’t been here in years. It used to be excellent. They always had a fun hibachi show and excellent food. We went on a Sunday. There were only two people working, the waitress and the chef. There was no “show”, prices are high and they play top 40 radio not traditional music. The food was ok, everything else was disappointing.

Odered the sushi “deluxe”. The order came with one tuna nigiri, 3 salmon, 2 yellow tail, and 4 tilapia pieces. I asked the waiter if they meant to include 4 tilapia pieces – he informed me that those were actually yellowtail. I guess some people believe that. I said that I was expecting an assortment of fish since if I wanted tuna, salmon, and yellow tail, I would have ordered the Triple Sushi for less money. He pointed to the menu and informed me that the selection was the chef’s choice. Alrighty then. Defeated by logic, I started consuming the meal. Fish was tough and didn’t taste very fresh. Not sure how this place has a 4.4.

The food is definitely not worth it very small portions of everything but the vegetables the hibachi is the worst I ever had from anywhere they don’t even serve noodles with it only rice no sauce for it for you to dip your food very expensive for nothing the cook does do any type of show when he cooks you give a 20 percent tip for nothing the service is ok I wouldn’t waste my time food was very salty and way to much sauce on certain foods don’t waste your money
